As of now I am updaing Cimmerian. It will use the same core as Convalesce. So all those great features such as a gui will be in Cimmerian. It is unclear when the first new release will be but I may have betas up for testing soon. But while I am coding I would like to hear some of your ideas. Anything and everything. I would like a nice discussion on how the CC can be improved or fixed. While I have my own list of updates I would like to get yours in as well.
I don't have any experience with the original DK CC, but I would like to see solid support for DW Frost spec. I want to bot a DK, but also join random dungeons using the frost "tank" spec. Cheers!
Greetings, today i started with a DK in AB. I dont know if the standard CC is the one you are refering to/same as that. But i would like myself then, full support for unholy specc DK to it being a PVP DK, the problem really was making it move towards its enemy at all time, people kept runing out of melee range and the bot just stood there like an idiot getting hit at range, instead of going after the target and get to hitting it instead with the correct rotation of abilities. being: Icy touch, Plague strike, bloodstrike, and if all diseases are applied Scourge strike. ofcourse, if it encounters a mage should try and silence it at all times aswell as using ice chains on every single targe and keep that on. i would recomend reading up a little on DKs and there abilities depending on specc.
The base CC continually uses corpse dust up to summon a ghoul, at the beginning of every fight, so it will sit there for awhile trying if you don't have any. Maybe an on/off option to use the ghoul pet.
I turned mine off... you can change it just open the deathknight.cs with notepad and scroll down a bit.
Or! you could be a smart little boy and go to the AH and pick up the -minor- glyph that removes Dust requirement from Raise Dead. TADAAA! insta-win in a pixel (or two) @ Mordd. Talent-skills from all trees would be lovely, i've hated that Xibalba doesn't use Mark of Blood for example. DD aoe skill support. Hysteria on temporary Ghoul perhaps? As for frost, Deathchill should always be on CD for maximal dps ^^ Extensive procc/buff-checks, don't wanna miss those sweet momentarily boosts ;D Can't come up with anything else atm.
What are all possible openers, both in PvE and PvP ? right now it will use Deathgrip, or Dark Command if in PvE, but are there any other options anyone would use?

In pvp i would normal open with death grip or if on cool down frost strike if thats what its called since its a ranged spell cant wait to test this I love the pala one and this should be just as good
I hope your CC will supprot all specs and fix the "Mob behinde the Bot"-Bug. It's boring me if I look for my bot and see that it is near to death because a stupid mob stands behind it and hits it -.- Also it would be nice if the CC uses more of DK skills.
As always I am in AV and the DK targets and targets.. It runs great but when it comes to a crowd of people if they don't actually target me it just feels like it should sit there and target everyone possible Opener was successfull! Targeting Error! I need to know where Hungering Cold would be used in PvP. The detection of multiple attackers for the current version of HB will slow things down. So I really need to know when a good time would be to pop Hungering cold when doing PvP.
i saw that nobody answered this so heres what i do (DK is my main playing character): open with a Death Coil to burn off leftover runic power from last pull, then icy touch. for unholy spec blood plague takes priority over frost fever due to the increased damage provided by Rage of Rivendare, so ideally you would use Plague Strike to start the rotation but that can be difficult since it it melee. if it is a caster mob you are fighting, on the pull it should interrupt the cast with a death grip, or a strangulate. this would help immensely in getting the pulls going smoother.
