Hey guys, I am thinking about buying a laptop which can run at least 6 wows and some other programs like 3d animation next to it. ATM I have 4gb ram pc and it can run 3 wows but and programs next to it but not quite fluent. Do u guys know any websites for cheap and good laptops with a wide price range? I am living in the netherlands and i heard that ordering laptops from the us is way cheaper than in europe. If u help me Ill REP u!
Well I like dell, all my computers are dell. http://www1.euro.dell.com/content/topics/segtopic.aspx/specials/deals_3?c=dk&cs=dkdhs1&l=da&s=dhs Plus they give a GREAT discount. Atleast in Denmark. Edit: I got the Dell XPS 720 h2c, I payed 14.000 danish krones which is about 2,635.46 USD. I can run 9 wow at a time and play left 4 dead
You are looking for quite a laptop, at least a quad core with about 6gigs of ram anywhere you find it, it wont be cheap thats just how laptops are. I normally use www.tigerdirect.com or www.newegg.com
If you're looking for a badass laptop, then you really really should take a look at Alienware, Gaming laptops.
Also I highly suggest not getting a Laptop, as it will be almost as big as a desktop, if you want it to run 3 wows at a time
well i want a big laptop, I dont like these small netbooks. And I am planning to spend like up to 2000 euros on it
oh and also is there a big difference for botting + 3d designing between i5 and i7 intel? a difference that is worth 220 euro?
Go with a higher end I7 the processing capabilities make it well worth it. I5 is really just not worth it for what you want to do.
i thought this one from the us was kinda nice and worth it: http://www.compusa.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=5725517&CatId=4938 the reviews seem good as well although the website looks kinda strange ...
Id go for a sleek netbook to use on the run and 1 maybe 2 desktops on the side. 2000 Euro should get you there just fine.
Hey look here I bought one for my daughter when she went to college this fall. Although the one for her only cost 600 dollars they do have a customize option that may suit you. www.ibuypower.com
www.ibuypower.com way too expensive for what they offer u, I want a 1500 dollar pc which should have i7 and 8gb ram
honestly, go for asus g73jw-a1. its comparable with alienware, global warranty, and, tbh, my laptop(asus) runs 3 wows, with the spec of intelcore2duo generation which was 2 years ago. anyway, i'm gonna get that too. lol! so, thought you might be interested in this had enough with dell(over here in my country) with the services + reliability. amazon sells pretty cheap at 1.7k i7 + 8gb ram. whats more? 1.5gb ddr5 video card! pls, dont ever get ACER! =X it wears down really quick less than 2 years. it could be cheap and attractive, but... no..no..
or how about this one? http://www.compusa.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6700962&CatId=4935 I still think that 6gb ram is more than enough right?
M8 dont forget if you buy a computer from the states and if you live in europe you will be charged for taking it into the country. Its a % of the base price that will be added, a pretty big %.. I really recomend Alienware take a look at those computers. They are not made for going to the beach with or surfing on the bus, its just a pure gaming computer that you can move arround easily. On the site you can custimize (spelling) it, adding better graphic cards, processors, RAM or what ever you want
more than 4gb memory and you won't run out of it. Its the processor which need more power after that so the 6gb is easily enough. Could you tell why you want a laptop to run wows?
