Edit: Hmm, the guy then goes on to say he THINKS chests work the same way as monsters, says he will update once he confirms, and ofcourse in typical blizzard fashion he doesn't update.

 

Damage range is good. I would roll the LoH for increased attack speed. Will give it more DPS. LoH is kind of a waste if your not focused on a smaller tougher life pool. IAS will give you more damage now and always lends well to procing LoH if you change your mind later.

An SSD really helps with game loading. If you have a lot of ram and are not utilizing it I might be able to point you in the direction of a RamDrive utility you could use to put D3 on, should have at least 8Gb free though.

Yeah I'm looking over the OOC movement commands right now. Probably will break it for combat profiles though. People will have to swap PlayerMover.cs back to default if they want to use another profile. Angry chicken Witch Doctor incoming.

Yeah I switched the LoH to Attack speed, I think I have around 9GB free currently is there any things I can use to accurately check this? I'm just looking under my Dxdiag right now.

Please stop spreading misinformation. The only things in torment that can't drop torment only legendaries are caches and Kadala. Now do you want to try to twist what a CM said specifically about caches or listen to the people that have been running this area for over 3 days and getting at least 2 legendaries an hour. We have even found torment only legendaries under damn rocks!

From earlier if you don't wanna just take my word:

 

Try Ctrl+Alt+Del select Task Manger->Performance and then open Resource Monitor. Give me both your Standby and Free memory. You need a bit of free memory but not that much. My SSD actually has a firmware that incorporates a ram drive cache so my "Free" is almost nonexistent.

 

Wow I have like no free memory maybe I'll go buy another ram card. Standby is 2788MB free is 53MB LOL

 

You would be much happier with an SSD. Windows uses up a lot of memory for standby to do limited cacheing, those numbers are fine for a typical computer. I don't know what is currently best in the SSD department but always use AnandTech | Home when shopping for parts.

Also, believe there is a memory leak in DB...or there was one. I am not sure where I saw it but I read about it reading about it a while ago. People suggesting restarting it every so often to free up memory.

 

why are we disabling movement spells out of combat? mine never uses them nao

 

I'll admit i was wrong, but what he said wasn't specifically about caches, read his last line.

 

Go try out 1.2 of my profile with a Wizard that has teleport or a DH that uses vault and get back to us.

 

It didn't use anything on my monk, but now I'm on DH it uses vault pretty well.

Just thinking, gloom +30% movement speed won't hurt it right?

The more speed you can give this profile the better. It is setup to control OOC to limit issues when you start pushing the speed limit. We already have people over 60 GPH. Just wait until I modify OOC for more speed! Wizards and Witch Doctors are first but someone already said they would work on a Barbarian.

 

Yeah I get about 60gph on DH.

Made an account and reporting some problems to help out:

Second chest - Character is still getting stuck on the opposite side of the chest if a legendary drops. Ends up standing there until the bot decides to leave the game.

Second chest - Often when a blue item drops the character will attempt to run to it and get stuck on the opposite side of the chest (note that I do not have the bot set to pick up rares/blues). The bot then attempts to unstuck by running to the center and then west to randomly break some objects then run back to the chest for no reason. It then resumes and continues on it's way to the next chest - Seems like a huge waste of time and cuts the run speed considerably

Last chest - If there is a double chest at the end, /sometimes/ the last chest gets completely ignored and the bot will port back to town

 

Second chest I know is still a bit off but you seeing it wait and run to the other side is programmed. Did you dismiss your follower? Seems to help. Taking a break from it as it's just frustrating.

What version of Trinity are you running? That last chest problem you are describing someone else had with 1.8.18. If you are using 1.8.24/25 did your character try to cast a spell just before going to it? Some skills aren't considered under OOC movement and are still cast by Trinity at the worst moments causing interrupts.
