Just returning to wow and starting with absolutely no characters! Time to start the level train again! Just curious as to which profile pack works the best for Alliance.. if anyone has tested both
Thats a good question! I using Kickazz atm and yeh i have to fix some problems sometimes. i started at lvl 1 and now iam lvl 30! Not sure how many hours i have used it!
Yes i have a friend that has said he has issues with Kickazz' version, I'm curious as to how people have experienced Cava's
I can't judge honestly because I've yet to try Cava's. As far as Kicks 1-90... I've leveled close to 10 now with it. The ONLY issue I've ever experienced is in Deepholm. That area is just terrible. DX123
I am using kicks currently at lvl 64 in 1 day and 22 hours played time, I have had several issues along the way but overall its doing a pretty good job, since I am always near it while its leveling I can see when its having problems. For example I start it with a goblin and there is a quest where it needs to press a red button which it did not and ran to the NPC trying to turn in the quest, so I had to stop the bot and manually go press the button and start it again. Let's see, had a few quests dropped as it was not able to turn it in but it did not stop it from continue leveling that was prior reaching level 60. The bot itself doesn't like multiple targets inside house, near obstacles, at least not as a rogue. Since I came into BC I've had very little issues, mainly gank's which is of course not the bot's fault. Once I got to Zangarmarsh there was a quest Jyoba's Report where the bot was not able to turn the quest in it was selecting the NPC in and out without turning it so I had to again do it manually. I am waiting for the current profile to reach 85 before trying out cava so I know which are the main differences between both.
Hey do you mind telling us a few of the issues you had with cava? I would love to hear that as I will be using it next to see how it goes.
Yeah I just tried cava's with a goblin and I had a lot more issues than with kick's not to mention cava's managed to some how throw a framelock exception and have me close honor and re-setup everything so I went back to kicks.
Cava is faster for leveling... Kick's bot is for maximum completion of lore master + leveling so it's considerably slower how ever it has had more time and work put into it so less buggy. I'm using Cava's for a monk as I type this 1-60 horde and no problems yet.
Maybe the issues are mainly region/race wise I haven't tried anything other than a goblin yet with kick's im running a rogue and with cava's I tried a warlock and kick's is working way better than cava's was for lower levels for me.
This is what I do also. Both have stuck spots. Neither are 100% afk. I appreciate the work of everyone involved as it is a huge undertaking.
I'd say use Kicks. I've used Cava for ages but now realising he is being a dick for charging things like not blacklisting flight masters. All round Kicks is the best
I've found if you set Kicks up to log on and off every so often (which you really should do anyway), it loads up the most appropriate profile and levels quicker. Otherwise it seems to stick with one zone until it completes all the quests. There a couple of little hickups, especially if you get some bad interactions from the opposite faction. I had some questgivers in Thrallmar get killed a few times and one of my bots was stuck there trying to hand in quests which weren't in the questlog. I just manually played for 10 minutes and it sorted itself out. Mists content worked flawlessly for 5 characters with one minor exception in Kun Lai, where a mini-boss had some adds which needed to be killed prior to killing him, and my warrior char got stuck there.
Place I had most of my problems was deepholm bot would fly and stay near a monster doing nothing till death aside from that it was all minor issues, I've been taking note of most things I had issues with to see if I can either help fixing or report.
