This bot is amazing! Somehow he gets around 55-60% win rate on ranked games and because of there is a small problem lol Because he is so good he ranks up pretty fast so I need to check him every hour and concede him back to rank 20 because if I don't he gets to rank 17 and his win ratio falls down. He loses more often on ranks 18-17 so I would really love if he could concede himself back to rank 20 as soon as he gets to rank 18.
Sounded logical to me. The math obviously supports it. 5 minutes to concede back 5-6 games. in return for a 75% win rate. Ether that or just auto-concede after every win.
Neither. His request is totally legit as you will win more often always staying around rank 20. It's common practice and already done with other bots.
You will either have 50% win rate once you hit rank X or you can have win rate above 50% as long as you will get back to rank 20 or just concede after every win like Zipnut suggested. How's that never ever necessary for you? You don't like higher win rate? Really man I am curious about that statement of yours, please explain your "logic" since I already explained mine and you just replied that's stupid trolling. Maybe I do not see some great wisdom behind your words? Do explain. Also I do not know what's exactly going on with other bots but this: ...is pretty solid argument taking in consideration that HSB is way behind other bots from what I've heard.
I think what DaSoul was TRYING to say (in an aggressive manner) was it is really worth it? By that I mean, the true end-goal is to try to win as many games per hour as possible, I agree. Lets say (hypothetically) the bot takes 10 minutes per game that it plays. Bot plays on its own, @ a 50% win rate, meaning it wins 3 of the 6 games it played in 1 hour. Player concedes games, giving the bot a 75% win rate. However, it needs to concede 6-7 games an hour to maintain this rate and it takes roughly 1 minute to queue/match/concede/requeue meaning this method adds roughly another 6-7 minutes to the process. So instead of playing 6 games an hour it only plays 5. Rounding that means it wins roughly 4 of the 5 games it plays per hour. So you win 1 more game an hour, or 24 more games a day. While it is certainly an improvement, is it worth spending developer time on (considering how far behind HearthBuddy is with a ton of other features vs other bots as it is)? I'm not for or against it, just laying it out for those who don't understand either way.
from 3 wins to 4 in 1 hour is a 33% improvement in productivity. THAT IS HUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
only i there is an unlimited amount of gold you can win. So instead of 10 hours (3wins/hour) youd get your 100 gold in 7.5 hours. Let it run overnight and you have your 100gold regardless. So yes, its an improvement IF you can get unlimited gold, but you cannot. So right now no point.
There is a point. Most people are using the bot to get golden portraits/level up heroes, not just for the gold.
Well, 6 months against 9 months for levelling all 9 classes is a huge difference for me... But that just me. I'm using your number as reference but it's obvious that you can level a class in much less.
I don't agree. If I can get my 100 god in 7,5 hours instead of 10, I'll be a happy guy. Also, it's not JUST about the gold. I want to achieve my 500 wins in ranked and level 60 faster. And if I can do this faster, I'll absolutely take it. We need this option, use it you like. I find it VERY hard to believe that it's a difficult feature to implement, compared to a lot of the other stuff that has to be worked on.
500 wins gets you gold portrait and then what? nothing. Getting this done in a day versus 5 months there is no "benefit" to having it done in a day. if someone who plays every day NORMALY and gets their gold portraits in a month, and you bot and get yours in a week, flag = bot. I guess its a moot point right now as there is no end need to having it theoretically 30% faster. (THEORY) It doesn't get you more profit. It doesn't get you more decks. It doesn't get you more gold.
It does get you all that FASTER. It's like saying you wouldn't care if you got a 200 % experience boost in WoW, because, well, you'd get there eventually! Right? It's a simple option and it will probably get my goals done faster. Oh yeah, and I want to finish my 30 wins in play mode ASAP to play for myself in arena.
