Banned after a couple of hours

I bought and sat up my bot last night. Fired that baby up, and I put it on for a couple of hours while I slept (till server shutdown for maintenance). Next day (today), I log in. Start playing some arenas with my buddy, and BAM. Disconnect. I've been banned for 72 hours, and my account is now on a final warning.

This bot is the worst buy I've ever made (excluding that one hooker that had a penis). 25 euros for approximately 1700 honor points and a 72 hour ban + final warning, what a great deal.

 

"I put it on for a couple of hours while I slept" Well there's your problem, sleeping while botting BGs. This ban is 100% your fault.

 

Well obviously, it's my fault for being stupid/lazy enough to use a bot in the first place. However, why would you be using a bot while you're available to play the game yourself? Then there would be no use for a bot in my mind. I was never banned for using my good old wowglider, and I used it countless times while I was sleeping or at work/school.

 

Always ask the hooker first if she has a penis.. didn't you learn anything here ?

BG botting is known to get you a quick ban. don't do it.

 

My friend got banned aswell, he was botting (HB and GB2) before maintenance.. but didint check HB if the new patch WoW updated would so something..

Well, it prob did, because he got banned after 1-2 h of botting, (not having updated HB), so ^^ dont try to bot wednesday before checking the forums if its safe..

 

I used BGbot for 72h hours with maybe two breaks of 4 hours and did not get ban, now I have ilvl 522 ^^
I guess I was lucky, won't try it again

 

I didn't bot on wednesday though, I botted the night when the servers go down for maintenance. I was just banned on wednesday.

 

Someone has to be lucky too, I guess!

 

I level my toons using arch and hb, and have not had a problem.

Its funny. Everyone said that PvP Bot is risky.. A friend of me and I botted bgs (Bg Buddy) and arena ( Tyrael) .. He more that 10 Hours a row, no sitting, me just 2 -3 hours (with sitting) .. No ban. He botted already 1 Year and I botted now for 5 Months (Many chars to lvl 90, equipt, everything, talking with a GM while botting etc) Not a single Warning So the bot is it really worth

 

It's all about being lucky then, I guess.

 

Actually you botted in wednesday for steady 4-6 hours, depends in which hour the servers had to shutdown, at 3 or 5-6. So if you had started the BGBuddy at midnight, you had botted at least 3 hours, or most likely 5 or 6 without a minute break! Oh wait, the preparation phase is 1-2 minutes in BGs ^^
