[HORDE] Frostweave Cloth farming at Cathdral of Darkness Hi everyone, This is my first profile and it might still have bugs so feel free to let me know and I will try to fix it. The only untested part of it are the mailbox and vendor they are properly set but just didn't tested it enough to get to that point. On PvP servers Cathedral of Darkness is a pretty disputed place or at least on high pop ones so be aware. I like there because mobs respawn very fast and the drop rate of it inst bad. [HR][/HR] You must be on Northred continent if you're not bot will tell you that you need to move there and stop. Once you're on the continent it will fly to the initial location and move inside the Cathedral and start farming. It will farm 1200 Frostweave which you can change on the XML yourself if you need to. NOTE: If you want to use it as alliance you will have to change the vendor and mailbox information on the XML.
You mean its only killing one side of the room? I've tested it for awhile and it was killing both sides, I will check again.
Chances are, melee pull distance is to small and it's not seeing the mobs. Try making it TWO HotSpots instead of just ONE. One for each side of the room. Personally, I would make it have 4 hotspots simply to eliminate this situation. Yes, your toon will do a lot of running around, but every ones toon will see all the mobs.
Hi samoday, Thanks for the information I will give it a try later today and do the proper changes and update. Right now I am working on a different profile to farm berserker while avoiding the aoe cleave as soon as I get this one done I will get back on this one. EDIT: unhappily I haven't been able to test this yet as the spawn on my server is always full, I will try to level a toon on a dead server so I can invite myself to try these.
Have updated a new version with 2 hotspots and reduced amount of time to stay on each hotspot as well as a default pull distance of 100 yards in hope it will resolve the current issue, unhappily I was unable to test it as every time I go there, there is a bot already farming there so I can only assume there is either another profile that does this around here or a private one.
Yeah, it is a popular place to farm. Considering there are only a few mobs, it makes it not worth the time unfortunately. Good attempt for your first try though. Nice and easy and doesn't require to much work. Now you can attempt a more complicated one with having the basic knowledge of how to do it. Don't forget about the honorbuddy wiki. Tons of useful info there. P.S. If you're looking for a frostweave cloth farm, feel free to check my Naxx endless farm profile. I personally have not had any bugs when using it, but others have. Give it a try, let me know what you think.
Have you been able to try the last 2 versions? They are slight different in terms of pulling distance/max distance. Thanks, I haven't been able to dig much into making profiles yet but do plan on learning more
works fine, except for movement after vendoring. It just walks back, instead of flying, takes him like 15 minutes to get back to farming spot, rly anoying
Which of the above versions you tried that worked for you? Thanks for the info shoxyz I will work out the vendor/mail as well as adding the alliance ones which are right next to the horde ones to make this full neutral.
When i start profile... my hero just use buff's and siting at one place... Please, explain me what profiles should i use ( grindbot ) and is there something spetial i have to do before istart the bot?
