first i would like to thank all who contribute their time to help make this platform what it is (including profiles, CC's, plug-ins, ....) especially those who are not financially compensated. i purchased GB lifetime a few months back and have been learning and dipping my feet in water a bit at a time since. i currently have many more accounts then i really need due to being somewhat paranoid as well as not being able to pass up bargains - for example in 3 separate deals i picked up a total of 10 accounts with 12 80's for ~$250. my plan is to keep a rotation of 3 active farming accounts from my pool of purchased accounts, a dedicated crafting/hand playing account, and a vanilla GM/auction account. the crafting and GM accounts would be existing ones that are in my name. also, this would be spread over about 10 different realms total. any advice, pitfalls, feedback with this strategy? thanks all
not at this point, no. although i do have each farming account setup with its own dedicated virtual machine. weighing the pros and cons that i am aware of i am leaning against using a proxy. maybe when/if i actually sell any gold i would use one for the gold selling account.
there are a few trusted sellers on MMOBAY that are very reasonable (prolly with too much supply leading into an expansion). like i said they were bundles and many on single bnet account. so, it was 3 'sales' of 4bnet accounts with a total of 10 wow accounts, of which 7 were LK. this was over the course of about 45 days just keeping an eye out and sometimes making really lowball offers that were accepted. in each case i've purchased from them in the past for family and friends - some over a year ago and all still going strong.
