[Plugin] QuickLootFix for HB 2.0.0.3059

QuickLootFix helps solve the looting issue I have been experiencing with version 2.0.0.3059 of HB.
I do not know if 2.0.0.3120 has the same issue as I haven't upgraded to that yet. If it has the same issue this should work for that version too.

Update: V1.1: Will Now only loot if you have 1 or more bagspaces...hopefully.
Update: V1.2: REMOVED Due to unsatisfactory results.

If you have issues with V1.2 as any class revert back to V1.1.

Looting Bug:
Character would kill a mob > Run away > Run back to the dead mob > Loot the dead mob.
Rather than:
Character would kill a mob > Loot the dead mob > Run away.

This plugin will make it loot very quickly right after the mob is killed.

Pros:
- Loots as soon as possible.
- Clears POI if it hasn't changed within 4.5Sec of attempted loot.
- Increased Kills/H if you experience this bug.

Cons:
- NO support for Ranged classes. Why? because my character is a melee & I made this to fit my needs as a quick fix.
- May bug out in situations I haven't experienced in my limited testing, but from experience no bugs thus far.
- If you run with a Latency above 400 you might run into issues of missing loots.

Known Bugs:
- If you are trying to loot a Unique item you already have it will spam loot.
- If your enemy dies at decent range it may bug. (Haven't added ranged support.)

If you experience the Looting Bug I described and your character is MELEE feel free to try this out.
Please note this was a very quick fix for the minor annoyance I was experiencing, if this doesn't work for you or causes you more hassle than help Do Not Use it. Just putting this here incase others in similar situation can make use of it.

I had made a fancier version with all sorts of Combat/Situation checks but to be honest they didn't work very well & this 'no thrills' version seemed to work fine, so any comments on the way it is written I realise it is crap & is missing important features hence the name "Quick"LootFix.

 

Oh and also if there's people who would like this for a caster class let me know & if there's enough demand i'll throw one together with distance & movement code for the casters.

And on the other hand if this didn't work for anybody just tell me what it is/isn't doing & give me a log if you think necessary & i'll see what I can do to fix it.

Works great with both 3120 and 3144.

This plugin is awesome. Instant loot = sweet, helps a ton with exp/hour on leveling toons and helps even more on AOE grinding toons.

In fact.. you should call it Instant Loot. Or Instaloot. Or Loot-o-matic.

Good to hear its working well for you, & nice name suggestions. Think the only problem with renaming it to something else is this Plugin may be obsolete once a HB update fixes the issue so calling it Loot Fix or something around that works. Also I believe InstantLoot is an outdated Plugin which done similar thing.

Creaming in my pants now that i realized it works with IB. Looting in IB is win.

 

Oh awesome, Haven't checked it much myself. Had my bots farming Zul'farrak while i debug & perfect my Instance Reset plugin. Theres an issue I have come accross while botting ZF. It will try loot even if your bags are full, i fixed that (not released yet though) & also it will try loot a unique item even if you already have one. which i will also address soon. (If you want the fullbag loot fix let me know and il upload it)

 

This is a great plugin, but it would be greatly appreciated if the bag full fix could be release thanks in advance

I second this! Especially if it works with IB - Isis(Priest CC by raphus) + IB + loot would be win!

 

Yeah, the full bag fix would be great. Haven't had issues with it doing that yet, but i'd like to avoid them in the future.

 

For anybody who uses the V1.1 could you report weather it fixed or not, Because my bots haven't had full bags yet to verify personally. If it doesn't fix i'l get a swift update backup.

It looks like it doesn't loot the enemy anymore when it has only one slot left but it stays running back and forth to it without looting.

Working on another Project atm, However once i manage to get that done il be sure to add support for casters, seems to be a few who can make use of it.
