So, I have no idea about XML.. I could probably teach myself but I don't really have the time to do that right now, so I have some suggestions for all you techies out there.

Jumping! Is there any way to make a Plugin that will cause your character to jump at random times. Something like a script that generates a random number between 1-60 and then jumps after that many seconds? This would HIGHLY reduce the bottish look. Another idea I've had is to make it so that at every click to move location, your character would jump, however this would not look as good as the random jumping.

Spinning! Once again, no idea if this is possible.. but you know how many people (including me) like to jump and do little 360 degree turns? Well Bots don't do that... and they should. I know that (if done correctly) you can make a profile that does 360 turns, but it would always be at the same location, and not nearly as random.

Auto Responses. This would probably be quite an undertaking to accomplish, but if somebody could, I would love you, long time. Basically, what I want is a customizable interface of input/output lines. For example, you could create a blacklist of key words that make you put people on ignore. You could make it so that if anybody used any offensive words, they go on ignore, that way they have a reason to understand why they were ignored. You could also put in lines that you could have responses to. For example, if HB sees "Want to run HOR", you could return the message "nty, busy farming." It would take a while to get set up PERFECTLY, but by monitoring what messages you receive, it would be completely possible to set up enough auto responses to key words that nobody would guess that you were a bot (that is if such a thing is even possible :) )

And if none of this is even possible, then they are what they are, nothing more. Good ideas that will never come to life :)

Didn't it couse problems, cuz if you jump and HB have seleted a spot to move and you jumped over that it will couse you to run back to that spot if you jump over it and run back again

Well then perhaps use a little equation that takes into consideration your movement speed and how that will affect your jump distance so that you actually land right on the spot? I really don't know how any of this would work but if possible, it would fix that problem.

Movement speed = 200% which means jump distance = XXX, so jump XXX before desired location.

it can be done, a simple jump plugin is easy to make and is simple enough to make it so it wont over shoot the click to move points.
but from what it sounds like you have really no idea what it takes to make a plugin, since plugins are not written in XML, but rather C#, same thing with the auto response, i has to be written in C#, and even then you need some kind of back bone like Aiml support to make it pickup on what people are asking it.

as for spinning, there's really no point.

Yep, like I said, I am no computer person but just a vessel of ideas. Sure, no idea is every truly your own, and I know everything I mentioned has probably at least been "kinda" done already, but I haven't seen anything of the like on these forums.

If you could make a jumping plugin, that would be awesome, CG. I do however, think that spinning could be useful, just to add some flavor to your movement patterns, perhaps spin at some of the Click to move destinations?

I would just like to see anything that would continue to blur the visual line between a Bot and a real human being.

Oh and Amplify got my Mage 1-62 so far, it's a great CC. Honored to have you toasting up my bread :)

      *BUMP* (!)

Really surprised this thread died. I was about to make one suggesting a similar idea, however here's some other thoughts:

      1. Yes jumping. Almost everyone in WoW jump-runs, especially when other people are around. I don't know why, but we do.

      2. Waving/saluting. Why not? Makes the bot more human, and is just plain neighbourly.

      3. Buffing. Again why not? I'm less likely to report a suspected bot that bounced up to me, waved, and gave me Kings.

Those three things alone take the bot from "cold unresponsive jerk" to "nice guy you run into". Even if someone figures out it's a bot, they might just let it go because it was nice to them.

Also with jumping, this will eliminate about 50% of the "stuck on a fence" type pathing issues.

I'm trying to balance leveling a bot, making Cata profiles, learning CC dev, and tending to the 2% of non-wow that remains in my life, but if no one picks this up I may try to.
