Each time I try to log in to HB, I get a general Authentication Failed error message. I have tried flushing the DNS and restoring my host but none of the fixes on the forums have worked. I ran HB all night last night and have no had this problem before. I have also checked to see that my key is valid and it is still the same key as registered in my buddyauth profile. Please help
I have tried several times street fresh starts of the computer and after force stopping every other task being preformed. I have never had a program which interfered with either honorbuddy or wow in the past, including a use less than 8 hours before the error first occurred
are you sure the key your trying to use is the same one listed on the buddyauth website? are you sure theres no spaces before or after your key? if your sure, try flushing your dns Flush DNS - What's My DNS? reset your host file back to default. How to Reset Hosts File to Default in Windows? - AskVG and try power cycling your home router.
the key is correct and active with no spaces, I have also flushed my DNS and reset my host file but I still receive the same error message
then theres something going on with your connection. ether you have a software firewall solution or anti-virus blocking it. or something else is going on.
I've made exceptions for honorbuddy in both my firewall and anti virus, however I am experiencing problems with other programs and I will preform a factory reset tonight. Once I've recovered the programs I will update the thread
if it not just honorbuddy then something is going on with your machine. if you can do a reformat and clean install. since sometimes viruses and malware can hide in your recovery paritions and just get recovered when you run it.
After a reset and clean install of the system everything runs as normal. Thank you for the support and keep up the good work, I love the product
