how long until a gm looks into a report

I think I might have been reported today, several hours later I was banned. Do gms usually look into reports and investigate that fast. I had 3 dks all in the same guild running into a wall and wouldn't stop moving for a few minute and some one saw me. Are all your toon's past movements recorded on like surveillance tape or something, can the gm actually track your toon's movements in the past?

 

There's no saying that's what caused you to get banned, but it's possible. You might've been reported in the past and they just happened to be watching you when you were running into a wall.
