they work for the most part but by the description, the plugin allows for so much more.. Often i see a character stop moving, or get stuck on a vendor etc. I think the plugin alleviates some of that for the most part.

 

anyone have working version of the plugin ?

I just returned from a long break from the game and am very impressed by how far your plugin and profiles have come. Really awesome job!

As I'm sure you're aware, the profile has a major problem with Forge Ahead. I've left my computer and returned to see that my toon has been DPSing an immune Itoka for several minutes (five minutes in the attached log).

This is really dangerous because it's blatantly obvious that I'm botting. This happens each time the profile tries to kill Itoka. The last couple times this has happened there has been at least one other player around that are commenting and emoting at me. I can't afk this profile any longer and am really worried that I've been reported.

Any chance you can add a UserDialog before engaging Itoka, or similar preventative solution, to solve this problem?

while grinding for black prince rep at the isle it will select the mob but will not attack it. it is to far away to have any spells hit the mob.

This whole quest really needs a heavy duty overhaul. Dropping combat from a target has to be forced, and is only capable from a QuestBehavior. I've managed to, over my exploits in Loremaster profiles, create a QB that can do such a thing. The next bit will be to get it to move to and use the totems in the area. Though I can guarantee it will walk through those pools of lightning, and I'm not sure how much damage they do but hopefully not fatal, otherwise that whole quest is a death trap for a bot.

I could add a UserDialog, but I will also say this: I do not recommend AFK'ing any of my profiles. While I do stand behind them all, and claim most of them to be nearly afk capable, with all the constant changes between 5.2 and now, I cannot guarantee anything anymore without overhauling them all. Be safe, monitor.

Also, with WoD around the corner, I'm trying to finish all my leveling and loremaster stuff, since THAT will need to be overhauled after its release too (changes to the dark portal, blasted lands, swamp of sorrows, loremaster, quest givers no longer being alive). So...doing my best.

 

Can this be edited in some way that it does not check the achievement and just does the quests in every zone for the achievement The Seeker?

 

Don't use the plugin UI. Don't use the auto select profiles. Edit every profile by deleting all the achievement checking code. Or wait til the project is complete, as there are not enough quests in EK and Kalimdor combined to finish seeker. But doing all loremaster guarantees it.

Thanks for an awesome plugin.

I got a question regarding doing quests with warlock/hunter. Trying to quest atm with a lvl 90 toon. The problem is that my pet is killing the mobs before I can get a hands on them = I can't loot em. He's kinda instakilling the mobs.

So I get stuck on the same place waiting on the same mob = pet kills the mob.

 

Ps, the question is: Is there another way around this instead of just disabling the use of pets in class config?

 

Well...the only change I would make is disabling pets for you. You could try setting the pet to passive/defend mode. Or look into the class config to see if theres a way to make it not attack with pets first, or pull with instacasts instead of casting spells so that it pulls before pet can. :-/

 

Cheers, I found the profiles svn repo this morning! You rock mate! I don't mind doing the outland + quests by hand, it's the absurd amount of zones in the old world that bores me

Thank you for your reply @ my thread about farming giant bones.
As i've written before i have some problems with Isle of Giants grinding profile.
My char: rouge, 560.
The main problem is that char tries to kill Primal Devilsaur, or keeps aggroing these big dinos while trying to kill Young primal devilsaur as they stand close to big dinos.
Here is i drawed areas, where big mobs located and path, that Desdi used for his profile



Also i have deleted some hotspots that caused some problems, so the best path in my opinion is here:

I will try and reincorporate the hotspot locations to mine, however it's all about the success of the pathing. When I wrote that profile, it was while me and Kick were first creating the mesh for that island. It was nowhere near as good as it probably is now (if at all, haven't been in a while), so maybe it got smarter. I disabled pulls on the Devilsaurs and added spell avoidance to them, but it still offers no guarantee of survival or avoidance of the pull altogether. Tried doing my best. I'll look into updates soon as I can.

 

I cant seem to get some of these daily rep quest to work. Im both friendly with shado pan and augest celestial. I cleared cache. still doesnt work. gives me this message
