FearPlex's Brief Gold Guide / Journey.

Thought I'd quickly write up a little guide / tutorial for making some gold seems the majority of people struggle to use the search function.

So, this will be very brief until I have more time to edit up a more nicer looking post and add pictures - currently exam time at Uni + full time work + deals.

Anyway, so here goes.. Currently, I'm botting 13 accounts over 2 PC's, however I will share the progress of my most recent 5.

So 6 days ago, I purchased 5, $5 Battlechests. A total investment of $25. I RaF'd these accounts together - Acc1 RaF Acc2, Acc2 RaF Acc3, and so on.

Created 3 Hunters and 2 Paladins - Levelled these guys to 15 using Kicks Questing Profiles and then ran Dungeonbuddy 15-85. This took me 19 hours played and gave me a return of ~10K over all 5 toons.

Spent the next 2 days running more instances together to get 'em geared up. Bought all the possible JP gear, followed by HP gear and then a 85 MoP Blue / Epic BoE weapon for each toon.

With the bots levelled and geared, I decided it was time to start making some profit on these bad boys. Set up 2 of them to run Heroic PoS, 2 to kill Elite Troops in Uldum and 1 to farm HoL. Heres a run down of a day on all 5 toons;

2 Prot Paladins running Heroic PoS
*20 Stacks of Frostweave P/H.
*300-500 GP/H.
*1 Battered Hilt every few hours.

So, botting these guys 12 hours a day, I make ~5000 raw gold per toon. They are set up to sell everything but FW Cloth and the Eternal Airs, Waters and Fires. ~400 FW Cloth an hour makes ~5 FW Bags per hour when combined with the dust from the Hunter running HoL. I sell the bags @ 80G each, meaning 400G an hour. 12 hours = ~4800G. Eternal Airs, Fires and Waters I sell for varying prices, however make ~1-2k from these daily.

So, lets add these figures together. 5000 + 4800 + 1000 = 10800G for 12 hours work on 1/5 of our bots. This is also BEFORE selling any Battered Hilts. I average about 2-4 every 12 hours. On the AH, these sell for 10k+, but can take some time - so I offer mine to Trade for 5k each, and they instantly sell.

In conclusion for my first 2/5 bots, we make ~22k per 12 hours + any Battered Hilts.

Total gold made on toons per 12 hours: 35-40k+

can you change your display picture makes me sick... anyway, perhaps you should swap the toons around doing certain things everyday, in order to reduce your risk of being banned? and do battered hilts even sell that often, i dont think they do. but yeh, cool guide and thanks for sharing, keep it updated!

Nope, I wont be changing my display picture. Don't see anything wrong with it.

I do swap out my bots. I don't even bot for 12 hours on each. As stated, I have 5 toons in this setup, running 3 different farm spots. I switch the toons farm spot every 8 hours.

This is the EXACT method I did / am doing on my first 5 RaF accounts, which are now 1 month+ old, been botting 24/7 and haven't recieved a single ban.

As for the Hilts, guess that's realm dependant. However, every time I sell 'em in trade for 5k each, I never have enough to sell to all the people that PST. Never have an issue selling em.

Just kidding, good guide mate. I dont know on which server you play, but hilt is worth around 3k on my server (auctionhouse). And after thise guide, probably for around 1,5k per item. (so as frostweave cloth etc after the public Northend profiles -.-)

Dont share every "secret" you have. It is like shooting yourself in your own feet.

 

Haven't shared em up until this point for that exact reason mate - however I'm making more than enough with full time work and dealing. Would much rather help others make some extra funds.

Not bad - my raf groups usually take about 22 hours to get lvl 85, then again - I don't use hunters =)

Nice guide buddy, however you could improve it a lot with some pictures and organizing it a little more and expand on "Spent the next 2 days running more instances together to get 'em geared up." as in do you just get the Hyjal gear or just gear from dungeons and which ones prefer to gear from, just my 2¢.
