I succesfully made it work on gathering but what I ask is how does the fate/combat/grinding works. I can route it and make it move but other than that it wont attack. I tried to search for guides on making profiles but so far i get nothing. I really want to start using the bot at its fullest but I dont know where to start, because there are no guides.
Either way, good job on the bot. worth my $ sofar

You can take a look in the Profiles subforum for many profiles that other people have made for the grinding bot. Have you tried one of those to see if they work?

The fate bot doesn't require any profiles, so it should just attempt to grind out fates in the zone that you started the bot in (it won't switch zones). Does it show any errors in the log when you run the fate bot? You can also click on "Bot Settings" when you have the Fate Bot active and play with the settings if necessary.

Same problem. I'm using FATE and Atma bots and while they're working insofar as they travel to the FATE, sync to level and lock on to mobs, my character isn't attacking anything, just following around whatever it's targeted to.

I downloaded one of ExMortem's profiles (BRD) and replaced the default to see if that fixed things but it's still doing the same thing. It just won't attack anything. Also, the 'combat settings' button on GUI is permanently greyed out for some reason? Any ideas?

Going to need a log file. As far as I know those mini routines are don't work with the fate bot. We don't officially support using anything other then Kupo.

If combat settings is greyed out then you've probably failed to extract rebornbuddy properly. Still going to need a log file to say anything more.

I'd installed it wrong, I've figured it out now and it's all working properly. Thanks.

If it helps, I downloaded all of ExMortem's routines from here - https://www.thebuddyforum.com/rebornbuddy-forum/combat-routines/155220-magitek.html

What I'd done wrong was, I was taking the contents from inside the Magitek folder and trying to overwrite the contents of the Kupo folder. (I'd just totally misread the instructions). All you need to make ExMortem's work is unzip the entire folder into the routines folder (so you'll have two folders inside the routine level, one for Kupo and one for Magitek).
