I know I can certainly make use of it! My Hunters and locks are missing like 50% of their loots lately because HB is not getting them close enough to loot so it tries a couple time and then blacklists them. If you can make it so ranged classes run right up to the mob so it's basically on top of the dead mob for looting that would certainly alleviate the problem.
Update: V1.2: UNTESTED any ranged feel free to try this. Hopefully allows ranged to loot but only after current target is dead. This may or may not work, I haven't tested it let alone try & compile. Ranged classes report your findings so I can fix accordingly.
It's working pretty good, it does make some unnecessary turns and spins sometimes thou. 1,68mb log (too big for attachment): 2010-11-14_15_21 Log.txt Code: [15:50:43:531] Changed to POI: Type: Loot, Name: Umbraglow Stinger [15:50:43:656] Plugin QuickLootFix Threw an exception in 'Pulse'! Didn't seem to fix the issue for my hunter. Still missing about half my loots I got this as well: [10:10:42 AM:924] Plugin QuickLootFix threw an exception in 'Pulse'! I'll take a look at it, I didn't even see if it compiled before. I don't have any ranged characters to test this on so I will have to improvise a little. Hopefully I can find a quick solution. My attention is split between multiple things atm. As a note to anybody else: If you are a caster do not try V1.2 & if you are melee revert back to V1.1. Removed: V1.2 from main post to save hassle for others.
I have a problem atm that it aint close enough to loot the mob and then it just skips it and adds to blacklist to be safe. such as this: Moving to Type: Loot, Name: Big Brown Bear I can't tell if we looted, blacklisting it just to be safe. Will this plugin help against that or is that a completely other issue?
It may, it may not. Don't really have an answer that is 100% correct. It seems like it might help a little but eventually the POI-issue vill appear in some areas.
