btw I was wondering would it be possible to add an option for the plugin to set the home point to the Aetheryte it's doing Fates at?

I don't think we have a way to interact with the UI to be able to set a Home location yet. Fate Bot has a built in function to teleport you back to the zone you were doing fates in though, so I'm not sure exactly why you would need this.

 

Because of death sure I can just see where my bot goes to do Fates and just set the Aetheryte my self but if I forget and have it set to the other side of the world it costs quite a nice sum to port back every time I die just saying

 

Hey was wondering if you could help me on this, when my character gets to the fate it just sits there and idle's was wondering if im doing something wrong

 

Is the bot set to fate mode?
Is the Plugin ticked in the plugins tab?
What C are you using?

 

Please post a log for any help needed.

 

I would need a log of what the bot is doing in order to help troubleshoot this.

 

Hi I ran into an issue in North Shroud Just NE of Fallgourd Float x24 y23. There is a wooden gate there that wasn't opening for me and bot was just running against it

Because fates pay precisely dick for gil and paying 400 gil every time I die and repairs would make me go broke if I am just trying to power level a class/job

 

I agree with this. If you get unlucky with the fates you can go half broke over night!

First off, due to this plugin I just purchased the bot, thanks for this.

I have limited time and leveling an alt is pretty much out of the question for me.
I hand leveled a main in 2.0 and am just coming back. So far, I'm trying this out on a lower level job and I'm seeing that it is running to fates but it's running to ones 10-20+ levels higher than me that are in the same zone as the one it teleports me to and grinds in. When it's on ones within it's level it does great but it'll run past a low level one to tag a high level one and obviously I will just die instantly.

Any suggestions of how to maybe have it grind fates within a set level range? Is that too far out there to check on?

The Fate bot has level settings, not the plugin. Enable level restrictions in "Bot Settings", set the minimum level and how many levels above current level you want the bot to try.

 

Ok, thanks man. I guess maybe my bot is bad because setting and load profile don't work for me. The program flashes but no additional windows open for options or so on.
