Latest update from 7/11/14....bot will not move until I manually change process priority from BelowNormal to AboveNormal and SWTOR process from AboveNormal to RealTime. I tried changing these setting in MercHelpers but the SWTOR process will not auto change to Realtime so the only way to make it work is to keep your defaults and then manually change it. Any ideas why it behaves this way? I keep the process affinity the way you set it btw. I'll keep you posted if I see more issues with it. I know you have been playing with these settings to try to get the bot to not crash as often and I thank you for that but I believe it is ultimately just going to be an issue with Buddywing doing this until Devs figure it out. edit: It started working with the default process priorities you set in MercHelpers. Not sure why it didn't at first, probably just needed to completely restart on a new planet when I updated. Btw, the CC runs sooooo much better now. Moves around and completes things so much faster than before. Kudos on the job well done and keeping this thing updated. My questing times have decreased by at least triple the time as before.
Also wanted to note, big thank you for the latest changes. The bot is moving from one location to the next much smoother with less frequent stopping in between (I believe this is because it doesn't scan for loot as often....). Anyways, it is working great so far and no crashing/halting so far once I figured out the process priorities.
Do you have the latest version? It was like that for me too until he disabled the default affinity options.
If you edit stuff, you need to delete compiledassemblies and restart bot... (You cant edit/change stuff on the fly)
Thanks for the feedback on the 'movement progression'. I had put it in, and later that day, then pulled it back out. Looked into the issue and it was unrelated so I just put that back in, sorry for the confusion on my part. Re: The sound, you can try turning off Affinities in MercHelpers (as I believe someone noted above) - I've never had the issue on my systems but apparently it's prevalent - about the only thing I can think of trying. (if anyone else comes up with a(nother) solution on it, let me know) And Cryo, thanks for the responses on that. Joe
https://subversion.assembla.com/svn/fightatjoes/ Also, did you edit merchelpers.cs and disable affinity options?
Just added. I know pretty much nothing about HTML/linking, but learning as always - need to dig into the MIME-Types or-whatever-it-is to make it a little 'sleeker'. Let me know if you can access it via the first page. If/when I can establish that the SVN is working, I'll kill the .zip. Joe
Just did a little 'hack' to fix the convo issue. You will HAVE TO delete or comment-out the .... Alignment line in the questing profile (since that will cause an error in the .exe at-the-moment). The Code: In OOCPS, will check for the Me.InConversation property, and send keys (for a Light response/fast-forward) accordingly. Joe
Thanks Joe for the little Hack to fix the convo issue temporarily. Doesn't look like the devs care too much to fix that problem with the bot. Good work mate.
Thanks, appreciate it. Did a couple more tweaks to speed things up with that, will release it in a bit. Yeah, this bot is a Red-Headed-Stepchild, just nowhere near the subscription numbers that some of the others have, and SWTOR devs seem bent on adding new worlds/Ops etc instead of trying to kill the shit that makes the game so monotonous (like trying to post full inventory in less than a full hour on the GTN, or cross-linking servers so DPS doesn't have to wait 2 hours to find a group for an FP/Ops)... nuffonthat. Anyhow, thanks, really appreciate it. Joe
True, true, they've dumbed-down the hell out of that, and the cartoonish good times.... Good point. Joe
