Does this happen often ? And how long is it down ?

No. Please direct bothaven product support issues to bothaven forums. I have no control over them. The manager itself is only needed for installation so once you're installed you'll only need it for updates.

How hard would it be to display errors in the HB window? Like a few issues I have seen on here are prerequisites not being completed... how hard would it be to notify the user like 1) quest(s) not completed or 2) you have only completed X and Z, need to complete Y?

 

It would require coding each combination of "if this quest or that quest done/not done" to a message, but then also if wow is returning the wrong info, as happens in 95% of issues, then this would just return false information. Causing more confusion saying "you need to do quest X" when you just did it 5 minutes ago. As stated on page 1, in any instance where quests are falsely reported as "already done" or not, this is a cache corruption issue. It happens when running multiple characters, multiple bots, or both. It can be fixed by deleting the following folders when WOW AND HB ARE NOT RUNNING:

1) WoW\Cache
2) WoW\Data\Cache
3) HB\Cache

After that, rerun. If you still have issues after this, send a log file pertaining to the post-cache clear run to here.

 

Oh yeah I know how to reset it all and do before running most daily quests. Was just a random question I came up with as I was browsing through the ten or so pages.

After completing the MoP Daily "The Battle Ring" the bot tries to attack a mob that goes from being flagged as enemy to friendly. It continues to try and attack it even though it is now flagged as friendly. I have to stop and restart the bot. Is this a CR issue?

 

Unfortunately yes.

 

Use manager to install and update plugin. Then use the plugin as you used to.

 

2 (hopefully) simple questions:

With the premium version, when downloaded via manager it says "The BrodieMan's Compendium (Open Edition)" it that as intended?
Also, I use HBRelog and used to be able to run the "Daily Grind" profile, although now I cannot find where it is saved now within HB. Where are your profiles located now?

 

1) yes "open edition" is a temp beta name I'm using until my free version can be integrated to be the same program essentially.

2) the profiles are no longer stored in HB. They are now part of the plugin. I may add hbrelog capabilities later but for now they are not manually loadable. (Security issues)
