Hi,was running 2 VM /*** ,and one Wow on pc ,was away for like for 1h ,getting back one VM was dc ,cheking other and in like 5 sec WoW on VM get dc and the WoW on the real pc get dc at the same time one got different country ip blabla..,all running Dungeon farm Botan...and one acc is 72h ,other one perma bann, was running them like 7-8h/day and rests for 2 days only, looks like its not time for fishing.
No they don't ,different names played with 60 days cards , account are not used with same ip same IP.
Was it vm or ***? VM still traces back to the same PC because its network is ran through NAT...all the vms will still use the same IP address regardless.
thats not true. natting means that the address outside of your VM will match the host Pc's one. the nat adapter itself within the traceable enviroment of your VM gets his own unique LAN IP. (for vmware workstation that'll be VMNet Adapter Number 8, that one assigns a 192.168.147.0/24 IP) you cant do networking with one IP assigned to several hosts. thats networking basics How NAT Works https://www.vmware.com/support/ws3/doc/ws32_network21.html by the way you can also use bridged networking. take it like this Code: VMGuest A VMGuest B NAT (.10) NAT (.11) | | ------------------------------------- | VMAdapter 8 (.1) VMHost eth0 (your actual network) | | | | router & internet so VMGuest A and B DO HAVE seperate IPs, of cause the VMHost will only have one ip but the VMs cannot 'see' this one (i know thats not entierly true from an experts point of view - but it's easier to explain ;>)
Using VMs is the most stupid thing you can do. Someone came up with this some time ago and people still think this provides more safety. Easy as shit to check whether software is running inside a vm or not. Any legit person playing inside vm? NO. Banhammer in da face. And don't tell me "you have to" or "need to" use a vm at certain amount of bots. Used to run 10,15,20 bots on one machine for ages without bans.
The thing is that you can have as many VM's running as you want but they will all have the same hardware GUID (hardware serial nr.) that blizz can easy check. I'm using VM's myself but it's better for me because I can use PC for anything else while running bots instead of just games all over the screen. It's all about how smart you bot farming dungeons/GB2 is very likely to get banned.
just a guess, but i believe it was probably a botanica clean up more than your accs getting connected and owned. It is known that lot of players go to the door to kill and report bots and there is constant bitching about its abuse.
No need to explain networking to me roboto...im Cisco CCNA certified and my brother is CCNP certified. Not once did I say multiple hosts to one IP, I said your VMs IP os only internal and your external IP is going to be the same as the PC....whoch is word for word what you just stated. NAT just translates private IP to the public IP leased by your ISP...still traceable. And bridging is still no different with regards to the fact that you're LEASED 1 single IP by your ISP at any given time unless you purchase multiple lines. No matter what way you look at it, its resolved to the host PC....even ran through a ***** chain or tor, its still resolvable. And its very easy to find out whether or not the software is residing in a VM sandbox or not...any big time blackhat software engineer will tell you everything they code checks for a vm/sandbox and breaks out to exploit the system. Same concept as far as determing if your software is veing executed from within a sandbox or vm. And the fact is if the server is checking the IPs and not client itself, nothing you do short of *** or vps is going to show a different IP from the host. Because server only sees that public IP. My explanation before was merely was short and simple because most people do not understand networking. Hence the lack of true explanation.
lol why? That's what pisses me off about these forums. Threads get closed for no reason, they break no rules, just someone doesnt like what they say. For example, many threads regarding support which are posted in the wrong section get closed. Why? Sure tell them that there is a support section for such issues but dont close the thread, other people who dont read the support section will still see that post and be able to offer advice, it's just pointless... Atleast dont be lazy and move the thread then notify the OP. And then there are the threads that may "harm" HB's rep, such as those that Botanist post, big up btw! Why remove them? Something to hide? Look up the meaning and the origin of the word "forum" it's an open enviornment for anyone wishing to debate. I don't see that here. Rant over, love HB and all the people who put so much effort into it, just hate the forum rules, sorry.
They've made it so only authorized people can post in support so that there's no overlap, I agree that they should use software which pops up other threads which have had a similar issue (something which ownedcore uses).. other people offering advice is not worth it when other people come in and make their posts with their log without making a separate thread, the support section is a lot cleaner now and allows support staff to focus on 1 person per thread instead of subsections of people asking for help.
