There is a problem with Eddga's profile during the Netherweave farming, the bot will leave Legion Hold and will go down and kill the endlessly spawning Infernals that drop nothing.
Is there anyway somebody could explain or just link me some instructions so I could try this out? I have absolutly no idea what to do after I download the Alliance file.
Attention !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The gnolls for the linen cloth profile arnt atually gnolls any more they are defias people
The Windwool profile for both Eddga's version and the regular version are not good for melee at all. They almost immediately get stuck on the Riverblade Raiders that stand on top of the huts which go evade lock because they can't reach.
What steps should i take to make these scripts infinitely repeat? Example - Alliance Netherweave cloth. I try and change it to farm item = 99999999, and remove the next quest in the steps, but it will simply stand there like a moron after vendoring, without even mailing to alt. Should i simply make it farm say 600, and then have the script go to itself as the next quest objective? Or should I overhaul the script over to a grindbot? I am rather new to profession buddy and using quest lines to script, as I have not used Honorbuddy after MoP was released! I am rather sure I could easily convert this over to a grinding profile, but I am wondering what the differences would be between force vendoring, and simply setting specific vendor/mailbox waypoints, and I am going to assume that using the force vendor/mail will make the script run smother/fly to locations smoother?
I would actually suggest making it a grinding profile, and therefore use the grindbot. I made it for you, and it should work. The problem with the grinding profile is you can't do a FlyTo, so it wont fly there, but move there by ground. Mind you, i haven't worked with grinding profiles in a LONG time, here's the profile, i think it should work: You could add a mailbox/vendor to make it smoother. It should go repair when 80% of items is damaged and sell when there's 2 bagslots left in your bags.
I greatly appreciate you taking the time to do this work for me! I tried running this with grindbot, I remember having a customized Frostweave grindbot script in the past which I had spent hours upon hours of perfecting, and after running this script, it just seems to me that grindbot should not be the way to go! I tried modifying the script while doing a 10.5 hour day at work today to see how it would go, i simply set it to farm 1200 (i have room in bags for about 2200), and i then had it load itself as a script at the bottom... No dice lol, it was not effective! after vendoring 1 time it hung and i lost connection due to inactivity! Would it be effective for me to just spam Code: <CustomBehavior File="FlyTo" DestName="Netherweave Cloth - Shadowmoon Valley" X="-3413.564" Y="2939.159" Z="169.8788" /> <SetGrindArea> <GrindArea> <Factions>90</Factions> <Hotspots> <Hotspot X="-3413.564" Y="2939.159" Z="169.8788" /> <Hotspot X="-3411.942" Y="2982.397" Z="169.8994" /> <Hotspot X="-3355.656" Y="2999.608" Z="170.0895" /> <Hotspot X="-3370.416" Y="2963.24" Z="169.8799" /> <Hotspot X="-3405.158" Y="2941.144" Z="169.8799" /> </Hotspots> </GrindArea> </SetGrindArea> <GrindTo Condition="GetItemCount(21877)>=1200"/> <CustomBehavior File="ForceSetVendor" DoMail="true" DoRepair="true" DoSell="true" /> Over and over and over again between Code: ?<quest> and Code: </quest> ?
The problem with all this is you cant use CustomBehaviors when using GrindBot, only QuestingBot. You can use a while condition in the beginning of the profile like this:
Looks promising, Will give it a whirl when ive finished leveling my new mage. +1 thanks to the author will post my results when its all over

Works so far. It's not that fast on my Enha Shammy but at the same time, winning is winning. So far found one other person though running the bot (or some other cloth farming bot) in Eastern Plaguelands. So watch out for other people doing it. I just skipped Silk Cloth and went to the next one, I will do it last. To other botters, if you see someone already botting a zone and there are multiple zones to farm the same thing in, don't be a prick, pick the other zone don't try and ninja their kills and etc. it just makes you both look super obvious to real people playing that you're both botting. EDIT: So basically 18 hours later I am still running this and I have barely hit halfway yet. Things to note: 1. Firstly the time that it says on the front page (finished within 6-8 hours, and can be done in 5) is the biggest load of crap you will ever hear. 2. Anyone expecting to get a grand total of 5536+ pieces of assorted cloths from mobs in that time is delusional. 3. These profiles are definitely NOT 100% afkable. I got stuck farming Mageweave Cloth in Tanaris and again for some reason the bot got stuck on farming Netherweave cloth in Legion Hold in Shadowmoon Valley. My toon stuck to killing those infernal elementals that rain from the sky that don't drop anything at all. In addition it got stuck flying in circles at the mountains of Dreadmaul Hold after finishing up in Easting Kingdoms. 4. These profiles are slow, especially at looting, at which they are REALLY slow at looting. 5. Gets stuck mounting vendor mount, and if gets aggro whilst mounted, it won't dismount to continue and instead allows the lowbie mob to attack it indefinitely. Other annoyances: 1. Why mail items when I have 60+ slots free? It looks really suspicious to blizz. Plus you set it to mail even trash like lowbie potions? 2. Why send me to farm ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED Frostweave cloth between The Fleshwerks and Aldur'thar, in the huge flat area? The mobs there always cast a debuff on you that gives you 60% reduced movement speed for 7 seconds. This severely increases farming times as you always have this debuff. Stupid stupid stupid location to set to farm so many mobs. I guess the only good reason it's this place is because there's such a low amount of people that could pass by here. Still I think the Vykryl place is far better above 'The Argent Vanguard' there's hundreds of mobs there all packed together and very easy to kill. There's barely any mobs where you set it to farm. Anyway, perhaps the biggest thing about this profile is that there's no way in all hell you could do this within 6-8 hours. I've spent 18 hours with maybe only 1 hour of downtime due to it getting stuck whilst I was afk, and I am maybe only even half way through getting the rest of the cloth. Winning is winning but this is kind of ridiculous.
1. Firstly the time that it says on the front page (finished within 6-8 hours, and can be done in 5) is the biggest load of crap you will ever hear. - You might be right, it might be too good to be true, but you have to remember there's a lot of factors that come into play, you mention other botters yourelf for instance. - This is always the case with public profiles. 2. Anyone expecting to get a grand total of 5536+ pieces of assorted cloths from mobs in that time is delusional. - See 1. - Please see post 2 in this thread. about "If something doesnt work please add the following to your reply to this thread" 4. These profiles are slow, especially at looting, at which they are REALLY slow at looting. - It isn't a profile-issue with the looting. Can you elab. on this a bit, explain throughtly what is going on? 5. Gets stuck mounting vendor mount, and if gets aggro whilst mounted, it won't dismount to continue and instead allows the lowbie mob to attack it indefinitely. - Please see 4. Other annoyances: 1. Why mail items when I have 60+ slots free? It looks really suspicious to blizz. Plus you set it to mail even trash like lowbie potions? - It mails the items to make sure that you got enough space when you move to other zones(profiles). If you happen to have 7 bag slots free, move to 1200 Frostweave, it will farm say 6 stacks of frostweave cloth and mail them to your alt. But the "behavior" i use wont account for those 6 stacks 2. Why send me to farm ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED Frostweave cloth between The Fleshwerks and Aldur'thar, in the huge flat area? The mobs there always cast a debuff on you that gives you 60% reduced movement speed for 7 seconds. This severely increases farming times as you always have this debuff - Fair point. It's chosen from here: Frostweave Cloth Farming - Best places to farm Frostweave Cloth - WoW-Professions once i get my hands into these profiles again, i will probably make a Naxx. profile for the frostweave cloths, tho. I think there might be one out there for public already This guy had a good time using it tho. - Again, fair point. I edited the front page, haven't had this good feedback for a while
Fair enough but still I think to be honest this takes at least half as long as getting 10 Skyshards.. regardless of how much competition and etc that you have. So it's a little... missleading that you state the entire process could be done so quickly. It took me probably 12 hours to get 1200 Frostweave (avg 120/h). I also forgot to mention that I levelled this current toon using a 1-90 bot profile and I kept every single stack of cloth that he looted from spending days questing 1-90. So for example I had about 500+ Netherweave stacks already stored away in my bank on another toon. So these times are inclusive of hundreds of cloths that I already had (I edited the profiles to make sure they only farmed the remaining cloth I needed). Another person reported the same bug, but it's okay, we don't expect you to fix it in a timely manner We know you have a life, school, and other projects etc. I'm just stating that it's not 100% afkable because your bot will get stuck killing those things forever and unfortunately they don't even drop any loot :/ There's at least a 2 full second delay before the bot loots a mob. Other profiles I've used ninja loot so quickly, almost as soon as the enemy drops dead and then they move on. If you add up all the hours farming this profile, you're going to lose a few hours just on the delay the bot loots at. I don't really understand the rationale on this. Most people have vendor mount, they can mount and easily sell that grey junk. There's no real need to do a mailbox run even on a character with just Netherweave bags, for many, many hours if you keep selling junk + lowbie food/mana pots etc. An option in the bot somewhere could be nice for this, and if there is fair enough I didn't try to find one. Fair response then if the site states that it's the best place. Imo I still think killing those Vrykurl things is far, far better. You can get hundreds of cloth per hour. Naxx is probably good too though. Thanks, and we appreciate your profiles they're amazing seriously. But I must say, when I looked at that time estimate I was quite sceptical, I figured it'd take at least double that. Realistically it's taking 4x times as long, and this includes the hundreds of cloth I already factored in, and deducted from the profiles that I already had. I've only just started doing Embersilk on Tol'barad, which by the way is also so insanely slow, and I've probably been running this for 33 hours now. I can't believe I need 800 or so Embersilk cloth... but thank god after this one Windwool is going to be quick. For reference my ilvl is 527 PvP gear and I'm fully PvP gemmed and enchanted. I figured I'd wear PvP gear as I can already 1 shot all of these pre-MoP mobs and if anyone wanted to come fight/farm me whilst I was farming then at least I could maybe kill them or fight back enough for them to leave me alone or think twice about ganking me. I suppose I should blame blizzard for making Tailoring such a cringeworthy grind. Btw, this: Tested and confirmed to be fixed. My regards to Eddgar too.
I couldn't get this profile to get any Windwool cloth at all... Because I am a melee class, I had the same issues as the other guys. It tries to aggro the mobs on top of the nets and then it can't hit them. It just runs under the nets and stays there. Also that area for farming shares its space with a lot of other botters and bot profiles. It's a really dumb area to farm. When I swapped to using Elemental Shaman build it went better, but still in 40 minutes it had only gathered 29 Windwool cloth (390ish remained). There's also too many people farming and questing in that area too, way too many chances to get flagged for botting, or killed on a PvP server. It's a stupid area to pick for botting cloths. I'd say that the Monkies in the same zone further south would be a far better place to farm, somewhere in the forest where not that many people go, but plenty of mobs spawn. Another good area would be Valley of the Four winds or on Mogu statues. Either way I skipped the entire Windwool section (figured it'd be the fastest and easiest to do for this bot, turned out I was wrong) and ran a bot for leveling my Priest from 80-90 with 400+ Tailoring for extra cloth finds. She got the cloth farming quests and random mobs after level 85. I could have also purchased the cloth but what's the point. Btw even though I farmed every single piece of cloth using this profile. I still had to pay 1k for Eternal Shadows to make Ebonweave (because that's what the guide suggests). Plus another 1k for learning all the recipes. So make sure you still have about 2k to get your Tailoring to 600. I'd say there goes about 5 days of my life farming this profile and other bs, that I will never get back. This profession better be bloody worth it when I start farming with it.
Hi, Thank you ! It works, but it can't mailbox items on Eddga profiles... (On all profiles I guess. I tested 3 first) Code: [16:25:16.548 D] Set query filter to Horde[16:25:16.738 D] Changed POI to: Type: Mail, Loc: <2290.66, -5323.351, 90.0145>, Name: [16:25:16.752 N] Moving to Type: Mail, Loc: <2290.66, -5323.351, 90.0145>, Name: [16:25:17.291 N] Could not find or move to mailbox @ <2290.66, -5323.351, 90.0145> - blacklisting! takes too long to grind wool cloth. very inefficient running around the whelps/dragons and killing single target instead of standing at the spawn point. overall i say dungeon grinding is much faster than this. no point looting mob 1 by 1 at level 85 or 90 when you can pull entire dungeon and get the same amount of look in 5 min
