Yeah this needs to be priority number one! I have no problems buying stuff as I have hundreds of dollars supporting dev's but jesus if you where Amazon you would be shut out of business withing 24 hours lol
Thats correct and it will be down for updates/maintenance or unforeseen problems from time to time. We will learn how things work and while we get more experience with it we also focus on implementing new features and fixing bugs ^^ So please don't kill us if things are not 100% from the beginning.
Just completed a maintenance on database servers to speed up store streaming. You should be receiving products again now
My advice for buddy team, make "override item handling" option for mailing/selling that will override values set in profile.
Wow... I was away from the forums here for several months now and I saw this! I am a bit disappointed from the direction this is going but I can understand a bit. You saw people making money by using your platform to a -still- very popular game. You did really hard work to expose things and create a platform and you obviously do not like how things were done. Well I am sure if you did not want these things to happen, you could prevent any "low quality" things to come out. Your business was supposed to be selling licences in order to use the product. And to make your product more attractive, you created the interface for 3rd parties. And now you want to make money from that as well. You are becoming greedy. Anyway, I am not pissed (not that it would matter if I were), just a bit disappointed. Good luck with your new business though.
This is my biggest concern, streaming the routines. What if you're raiding and in the middle of a fight your servers got technical issues and your routine stops working? What if your servers are down for several days? Would we get any compensations? We are paying for a service just like paying monthly for WoW.
So many things that used to be free, now restricted/outdated and turned into paid, all within a few days, just because ya'll opened up a store. Oh, how this community has steadily gotten worse.
I don't see a problem, all the paid stuff on the store was paid already, but was sold on different websites, we had to google/look for it, basically all that changed is that now you can SEE it in the buddystore, some of the products were even sold for a HIGHER price on those websites, the migration to the buddystore made them cheaper. Without the buddystore that stuff wouldn't be free, it would still be sold on different websites and you just wouldn't be able to access it as easily as now should you ever feel like purchasing it. People who wanted to buy would still pay for those products without any kind of guarantee of continued support, or any kind of clear refund policy. If future developers wanted to release their work for free they would do so, if they wanted to sell their products they would just do that on "those other websites", without releasing anything here. If they intended to release for free and then take their products away from the buddyforums to another website and charge money, they would still do that. I am fine with paying the Community Developers for their products, mostly because I think that good and hard work should be rewarded.
Actually the routines I bought were all cheaper on their sites then here on the store. One routine for 20 EUR whereas I bought them for 10-15 EUR. It weren't the routines that are listed here but I have the feeling that the future routines will all be that high. And my question from above is still unanswered. I would like to have the routines on my computer than have to stream them because of technical issues that could and will happen.
If they were not the routines that are listed on the buddystore then there's no reason to say they were cheaper on their websites.
