That's an .exe setting - drive:\buddywing\settings\Protected.xml. Be SURE to NOT EDIT WHILE BUDDYWING IS OPEN - as BW will overwrite it when closed. Joe
Hey Joe, Can you take a look at the following issue: When im inside a building and the bot scans for mobs, it sees mobs on the outside of the building behind the wall. It then goes out (even if im at the current object for the quest) goes to the mob kills it and then stays out due to the high density of the mobs in this area. IF im Lucky the bot goes back in, but guess... the mob is already back on the outside of the building. I tried changing my pulldistance, but it still sees those darn mobs, which arent in visual range! Thx for your reply.
I'm fairly interested in this as well. I'm experiencing this with Pure, so it might be the bot, but if there's a way around it, I'd love to hear it. Interesting bit: if you die and come back to the mob in question, the bot works fine. I'm guessing it has something to do with the mob staying in the bot's memory as a friendly NPC, so it does not engage.
I have a question about Sage. Is it supposed to never use Telekinetic Throw? Cause it defends me, sets up the dots and then just spams Disturbance. Intended or something wrong?
What level and which Skill Tree? Disturbance is used with Concentration per the tree to get your 'Haste' up to 30% (3 stacks), but after that it should use other skills. Joe
Sorry for not mentioning it. But atm i was level 51, Balance tree. And casting Telekinetic Throw gives 3 stacks of Presence of Mind, witch makes Disturbance and Mind Crush an insta cast and deal 35% more damage. And another question. How can i make your routine recognise my companion and act accordingly? It says Comp: NONE and doesnt help him in any way. I'v set the variable in Merchelper to attack my companions target if hes low, but nothing.
Hey, i'm Free To Play at the current moment, but the bot hangs if my character dies, as I have no health probes it just hangs and doesn't press 'Return to the medcenter' and when I did have probes, it never healed in the time limit before my character became visible.
1. Companion, as noted before, WILL NEVER be 100%, and there's already a s***load of code in there to try and get your companion via all possible means. 2. Presence of Mind: Was already coded for that but I just added a couple of tweaks in to more thoroughly support it, let me know if still issues. Joe
1. It should bypass the Medical Probe if you don't have the ability (and just to straight to Medcenter, unless that's disabled in FTP). If you have neither, you're out-of-luck. 2. Healing during combat: Let me know which spec/level and attach a log. All classes are coded to self-heal/shield/etc when below 70% where possible. Joe
The option for the Medcenter is available on FTP and the option does come up, it just decides to ignore it.
Hey Joe, any way to disable targeting without editing the MercHelpers file? Sorry if it's right in front of my face, but I can't find a hotkey for it.
No, not at the moment, but I've been thinking about updating the TWToggle key to another, that would just toggle the 'Targeting Mode' (0/1=Auto, 2=Weakest, 3=Closest, 4=Group Target (if IG), 5=None), and just roll through them as you hit the key. Will look into that and possibly post an update later today. Great question, that's been bugging me for awhile now. Joe
Awsome idea, thanks for looking into it! I noticed when I had to manually complete a quest earlier and the targeting was pissing me off
ROFL Note that it IS already coded for Melee Specs to do 'Distance-Health-Bucket' targeting, in groups of 10m, so if you're running a Marauder/Sentinel and you have 3 mobs within 10m of you, it'll hit the weakest of the 3. By the way, were you running Melee or Ranged... if it's not working right as it stands I can look into it. For Ranged specs, it'll default to the weakest (HealthMax) target, and take down the gimps first. Joe
It was working as intended, the problem was that there were two shielded weak targets and a boss target I had to take down first. The bot kept attacking the shielded guys, and moving my targeted when I targeted the boss
Ok, gotcha. TWToggle (default Keys.Plus) is now called TargetingToggle, and if you're not In-Group when you hit it, it will simply toggle AutoTarget. Otherwise, if In-Group, the old logic will kick-in. Joe
Why only in solo mode? I could see that toggle being useful for certain fights in-group-- for example, the Manaan FP requires the exact type of target switching I mentioned earlier.
Ok, updated - added Auto-Use for Unrefined Kolto as well. WILL need further testing/refinement, let me know on any other issues you see. (and it'd be nice if the FP didn't crash the game) Joe
