      Nope. filler

Also, would me not having .net framework 4.0 cause my whole computer to crash?

Yes. Just ran one a second ago to make sure this problem was not because of a virus.

Dude, i also had that before, gives computer lots of problems and its impossbile to uinstall. I searched on it and found out that its kinda like a virus of itselv
      AVG - Download tools
Remove it, and install one of the programs Microsoft supports and are free, avast!, McAfee, Norton. Serously, that program fucks up everything!

Hmm.... I'm not sure. All the time this free program has been out I have used it along with a ton of other people that play WoW. I don't see how this could be causing the problem.

Tried to download 4.0 and got the same error that I did in windows update "Unspecified Error". Is there a way to check what version I currently have?

      try 3.5 and 4.0. they're different, and having 4.0 doesn't mean u have 3.5

I just bought my computer.... wouldnt it come with the latest updates? I also tried putting javascript:alert(navigator.userAgent) into IE and it shows that I have 3.5. Yet when I try to update to 4.0 I still get an error.

If you run Windows 7 you have 3.5.

My advice is to grab a copy of 3.5 available from many places on the net and then run a repair rather than full installation. Oh and ditch this terrible AVG and get a real anti-virus program like Eset Nod32.

I tried to repair it and it gave me an error. I went into uninstall programs and completely deleted .net and restart fresh. When I tried to reinstall it gave me the same error. I tried pulling up WoW and hb/gb and they both worked fine. I havnt had a computer crash in the past 20 minutes either.
