I think that would be a good option based on the fact that not only will you make pretty good gold per hour, but the risk of being reported is very low in comparison to other farming methods.

I am trying out this now, and am making about 2.5k on each character in 10 hours, split into two intervals. Not very good GPH, but a fairly nice way to gear up after all the Timeless Isle pieces were all collected - converting JP to Honor and buying 522 gear... I am experiencing issues with disconnects, but the heroics themselves are going well.

I too am running 5 chars this way to see if it is viable and I am more in the range of 400 gold/hour and I know someone else who is doing it within the same range. Are you sure that you have checked it correcly?

I made about 2500g on each character over 10 hours effective play, so for me the gph is 250g at the moment. Only just started though, will report back over the weekend.

wouldn't put them in the same group lol - 1 bot in a 25 raid doesn't stand out, 5 however ( or 4 minus the tank ) could.

i've bottted LFR AFK with 5 toons

      DPS: warrior, dl, hunter, warlock
      heals: paladin

no complaints. did it throughout 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, and 5.4

bot does a better job at doing mechanics than most players LOLOLOL. and if you reforge/spec correctly even singular will put you in top 7 dps

I guess you could get geared to 522+ within 48 hours if one were to do the timeless isle chests first then farm the frogs till 20k coins with the group set up right. You'll most likely now have all ilvl 496 gear, except for the weapon, trinkets and maybe jewelery, considering you can mail the boa tokens + You could also go and collect the burden of entity from a chest and use it on a ring for a 535 or a missing 496 piece. 4-6 hours

Having close to a 496 ilvl set, you could go different ways in getting above 496 by either buying gear from the ah, running the 502 LFR or start queuing for mop hc's to convert jp to hp. 2-4 hours

Now that your are above ilvl 496, ponder to yourself if you want to run the SoO raid for 528 gear or continue with farming mop hc's to convert jp to hp.

You'll need about 23k honor to buy a full 522 honor set without the trinkets I believe, so by, give and take, farming 1,5k JP/hr it'll take you about 32 hours, including visiting trips to both vendors (which I haven't found a way to automate)

By doing SoO you might cut the time and get better gear, but with a larger exposure risk.

If you were to do LFR, I personally would queue them seperate of each other, because there will be times that the bot does odd behavior. And people may find it strange that multiple chars are doing it and who are possibly in the same guild as well.

Forgot about the celestial boss, do it while you are on timeless isle :)

put your bots in different guilds, never put them in the same guild if your going to run dungeons or raids together. for best results if your going to run dungeons, use a healer/dps combo for faster queue times. never run 2 melee or 2 ranged together or they will frequently stack in the exact same spot looking stupid.

Awesome post Angelus, plan to give MoP heroics a shot after my current suicide dungeon group gets the hammer.

Been thinking about doing this too. Been wondering about which classes to pick. From what I've seen of botted classes, the best would be a blood dk as a tank in dps gear, 3 beast mastery hunters, and a resto druid healing. I considered a penance priest as healer, but from what I've seen they don't do very well with the bot, and ive got great results with resto druids. Though I guess the bot could be configured to make better use of the priest rotation.

What are your thoughts on classes?

      I have:

      1x guardian druid
      1x BM hunter
      1x Survival Hunter
      1x Enh Shaman
      1x Discipline Priest

All in 522 pvp gear. I have to say that converting JP in honor is a HUGE pain in the ass, you have to not stay AFK if you do not wanna cap a lot and do A LOT of trips between the sellers. The melee shammy is doing less damage than the hunters but help with all the buffs.

With that done, the party is farming quite well, around 4-5k for 10-12 hours, without professions and vendoring everything

Any suggestion to increase the income ?

I have another horde team ready on the same raf accounts :

      1x prot warrior
      1x resto shaman
      1x survival hunter
      1x destro lock
      1x balance druid

that i think is faster then the first one, but the idea of the manual work to equip them is destroying me ahahah so i only use the first one.
Also, the worst dps i found with low ilvl gear is the Balance Druid, worst than melee classes

4/5K each or total for all 5? I have found 300gph for each toon, vendoring greens and dis blues on a 5 man team. Tried selling greens but no one wants to buy em on my server. The blues don't sell we'll either, shards sell for 15g or so and I dis 18g and below and vendor above that. Mats I use in my production toons. I also tried scenarios and came up with mixed results. My time with ilevel 510 or so on scenario is 10 min, so 6 x20 for the completion and few if any greens vendered makes this a poor option ... For me.

Did some production making vial of the sands but my profit was only 10k and the market is limited. The mats almost sell for the selling price. They also take about 2 hours or more per vial. There are more methods, each with its risks. Bottom line is its hard to make more than 500gph,but I'm still looking.
