[RePear] Repair Bot for Rebornbuddy

Hey Kagamii,

When I create a grind profile. In order to utilize RePear do I need to create a mesh leading to the repair vendor? Or does the Plugin pull the mesh hosted on the servers in order to find its way to the repair vendor?

 

RePear utilizes the navmesh server to do its navigation, you shouldn't need to do anything except activate RePear, RePear will take care of the rest.

 

Fantastic, thank you for the quick reply. I'm setting up a grind profile to grind up my Companion XP and this will help immensely since the profile can be 100% AFK and I hate babysitting lol.

It's just a basic grind profile. Currently gets about 150k xp/hr for companion while on my PLD. Can be higher with a DPS class, but not really any good CR's that work with new version of RebornBuddy.

When utilizing the RePear plugin with my profile it did not work. It just moved between two points when it came time to do the repair function. Attached is the log. No path generation errors coming up, not sure what's up with it.

 

I've tried testing RePear with OrderBot (with the "Mining_Leveling_1-50" profile Kaga made) and if the RePear timer expires while the bot is in the middle of mining something it closes the mining window, stands there, opens the ESC Menu, freaks out a bit, then continues mining with no errors or RePear messages (I checked the log, nothing happened during that event, just blank/empty time).

 

Are you running the latest version? That shouldn't happen. If you're running the latest version, please post a log so I can look at it.

 

That has to do with the navmesh server, RePear only follows the instructions it gets from there. I believe it had something to do with this...

Try it again and see if it's still happening.

 

Yeah the latest version of the bot and plugin. I take back what I said, I did find a RePear log message, but nothing happened (the timestamps show the bot never went anywhere to repair).

I have it set for 10 minute intervals and I've been running it since then (that's from my current log) and it hasn't attempted any more repairs (it's missed 2 calls since then, no messages in the log).

New area. Restarted the bot and this time the bot actually went to the local repair vendor and clicked on him, but never actually repaired (although the log claims it did). There's a ton of errors this time as well for some reason (so I'll just attach the log as it's way too much to quote).

Were you moving the mouse on the screen while it was repairing? I'll look into this when I get home though.

 

No, but I do have FFXIV in Borderless Windowed mode. Is Fullscreen a requirement for the plugin to function? Everything else has worked fine in Borderless Windowed so far.

 

No, I run in borderless windowed as well. I'll take a look at it this evening.

That tells me that it's not finding any object that is the same as the value of RepairVendor.Name.

Can you tell me what the name of the vendor was that you were going to Endus?

Was it:

4. "Independent Mender"
5. "Encampment Clothier & Tailor"
6. "Arms Supplier & Mender"
7. "Junkmonger"

Or was it named something else? Also....what zone were you in?

 

I figured it was breaking there, which makes me wonder if it's not returning a vendor properly. I might not have code in there for zones that don't have vendors in them, that might be the issue.

 

The first time I was in the Camp Drybone area (dunno what the name of that repair NPC was).

Now it's:

Forgotten Springs

I'm running the most recent version of RebornBuddy, RePear, and Ultimate Mining Profiles (specifically "Mining_Leveling_1-50.xml").

I just restarted the bot and I'm standing right by the vendor. RePear is set to 1h30m and I'll let it run overnight (no chance of me accidentally interacting with it). I'll check the log and post any new info in around 12 hours.

 

Still nothing. Woke up this morning to broken gear. Reset the bot and when I got home just now my gear was broken again. Here are both logs.

Keep in mind I've changed areas 2-3 times now.

I am having the exact same behaviour now as well, all of a sudden, just started yesterday

 

I'm looking into it but I don't have an immediate fix, as it's working fine for me. Any logs are always helpful, in addition to what zone you are in, what botbase you're using, and if applicable what profile you're using.
