Whisper notification/Name notification?

Crawlerbot has this.. if you get a whisper or someone says your name it screams a sound alert to you so you can run to your computer to respond.

I've searched the forums but can't find a similar option for HB. Is there anything like this, a plugin perhaps?

Yes, there are several plugins that perform the action you describe.

the forum search is lacking. for better results go to google. for example-'plugin whisper honorbuddy'

 

you might be able to get LogMeOut! to do that if you set the 'beep when trigger is fired' and replace the beep sound file with an alarm sound
