      >> Update: 09/10/2014 @ 0113CST <<

      New revision has been uploaded to the SVN and Zip has been updated as well. Mastery detection has been changed form percentage to raw number and function is no longer Lua. UI should also be working as intended but, settings are not valid...

      i think he is meaning "mastersimple" that is a playstyle with DW frost when you hit a certain point of ilvl/mastery where you prioritize howling blast and completely remove obliterate from your rotation due to the nature that it costs 2 runes and does less damage singletarget after you reach that beforehand mentioned point.

      Bahamen5,

      As Weird0 pointed out, Master-Simple removes Obliterate, Soul Reaper, and a few other not important priority items. We replace these spells with the usage of Death and Decay and more Plague Strikes to waste Unholy Runes. The Master-Simple rotation relies solely on your Mastery level and should not be used until you are in the 90%+ for best results. You can however use it from 65% base Mastery on up if you so choose with little backlash on your damage output. The reasoning we do this is when your Mastery reaches a certain break-point(65%), your Howling Blast begins to do more damage then Obliterate and Soul Reaper. As you Mastery grows with gear, this effect is furthered to the point where you will want to waste the Frost Rune from Obliterate on Howling Blast instead as it will out do the damage with less resources thus freeing up a Unholy Rune for Death and Decay to be placed on cool-down. This is the same for Soul reaper as we will want to waste our Frost Runes on Howling Blast instead of a wet noodle, er... Soul Reaper...

      tested it on a bossdummy comparing it to the cr i was using before

      4 minutes both fights / ilvl 582

      cro -> 320k
      pure v2 -> 286k

      will test it in a raid environment this weekend during my heroic raid and leave a note how it compared there with pure

      i know this cr is still in its early stages but would it be possible to add an option to configure the keybindings ?

      also a little explanation as to what all the options actually do and influence like i have trouble understanding as to what that rotation detection thingy does or that "chaos mode" under the runic power option

      the save button seemes to not work whenever i do something and press save then go back in everything is set to 0 again and unchecked

      Weird0,

      The GUI is only for show currently as stated in the last update post from the 10th. I'm not too savvy when it comes to ENUMS but, I'm sure I could add a key-bind option selector to set your own style. As for an information readout on what each setting does, I can also look into this.

      To answer your current questions:
      - The rotation detection will automatically change from Master-Complex to Master-Simple upon reaching 14K Mastery(raw rating) or 65%. The Chaos mode option will ignore the maximum and minimum limits and use whatever RP is available, disregarding the option to save RP for burst or whatever(still fiddling with this).

      Bahamen5,

      Simple Mode On(or Off) is the same thing as Master-Simple On(or Off). If you are not seeing the use of Obliterate, then you must already meet the hard coded 14K Mastery(raw rating) I've implemented. Also, per the update on the 10th and as I stated, the GUI is for show and doesn't do anything yet.

      chaos mode means it wont save any runic power fort burst or whatever and just dump it into frost strikes as soon as its possible

      Is it supposed to not use killing machine on Obliterate even if simple mode on/off and not use any spell till in melee range?

      Bahamen5,

      The Combat Routine is set to only attack when within melee range as to not pull unwanted adds in raids. This is not meant for leveling, doesn't mean it can't still be used but, it is tailored for raiding. As for not using Obliterate, please attack a dummy for 5min and send me the log so I can validate it is not being used. Lastly, Chaos Mode disregards the maximum and minimum Runic Power settings within the GUI so that Frost Strike is used as soon as it can be...

      Bahamen5,

      This is a dual wield Combat Routine and should not be used if you are using a two handed weapon. Dual wielding Death Knights prioritize Frost Strike with Killing Machine procs as it grants us more damage output over "X" amount of time. Two handed Death Knights use Killing Machine procs on Obliterate as the Runic Power usage... On second thought, simple answer is no. Obliterate is not used with Killing Machine and as posted above, this Combat Routine is meant for raiders. So to negate the unwanted add pull, if you want to pre-pull when at maximum distance, you'll have to press the button yourself...

      I meant even if i'm in combat, it won't use any spell unless the target is in melee range, i do understand that this is a DW routine and i like it but just having the range issue.

      just curious since dk are melee dps why would you want to cast range spells during a fight?

      Being 11/14H this late in the expansion is really not something to brag about; it's actually kind of sad.

      Stop that or get reported for non topic discussions. Switch to PM, if you feel the urge to show off your internet dicks.
