Had no issue with bot completing Natural Armor as a warlock, will be testing on a melee orientated character within a day or two.
Well.. the "useitem" tag seems to still be broken.. so a lot of the quests are not working.. i'd also like to add.. that i've seen all my tunes stuck underneath a hut when trying to burn the huts down for quest "Blessing of Incineratus" it could be a nav issue.. or the usage place for the totem seems to be wrong PS> thank you for this great profile
This Useitem problem is a big one right now, especially seeing as it rests solely in the hands of the HB devs to resolve, we will just have to wait and see. As for the hut issue, I am aware of this and I have added the areas as blackspots, however I think questing overrides the spots in order to complete objectives (which in this case fails).
Anyway to make this start the quests at a diff level? Decided to level a bit higher than needed for outlands quests due to being a pvp geared priest.
I';m just wondering if there is a way to use this profile with the old version of HB anyhow? Or do I have to wait until the new release is out even though I'd need lvl60-70 profile which hasn't changed?
Yes, just edit the Checkoint lines which are throughout the profile. You need to wait for the new version of HB due to the offsets being different.
Its even easier than Synik suggests... just change the line <QuestOrder>to <QuestOrder IgnoreCheckpoints="true">Documentation here. It works--I've used it many times. Sometimes, SubProfiles cannot be avoided. But we love it when Profile writers avoid the use of SubProfiles in questing profiles. Thanks, Synik! cheers, CJ
I'm loving this profile so far, well done you! I have editted slightly as I go, mostly just removing certain quests it seemed to struggle with and removing the grinding portions and level requirements to move on. The only quest I know it had trouble was the one in hellfire where you get the demonic rune stones and disrupt the 2 demon thingys. It needs to collect 8 of the stones and then either use the quest item in range or right click the demon portal thing. I had 12 of the stones in my bag and it bot seemed to stick on portal thing not using it, not running anywhere. not blaming the profile, it's been perfect otherwise, the other bits I've changed have just been for personal taste - mostly to allow for use of the heirloom gear, it may have been the CC I use or some user error somewhere. I don't have a log I'm afraid as it was hour and hours ago this happened.
I will look into that quest and others very soon, just in the process of leveling a character for use with the profile. The quest you mention is a bit of a pain, especially when you get interrupted whilst doing the UseItem, however I will endeavour to get it fixed if I can reproduce the problems. Thank you for bring that line to both mine and other users attention, didn't realise we had that. Most of all thank you for your continued support, really appreciated.
Tried this at level 58, got to 60 without problems, then started questing, did a few quests (2-3) and then arrived in the Path of Glory ... where he wanted TO CLEAR everything before looting the objects... Pulling 3-4 mobs,etc... diying restarting... so i was like wtf stopped it and went grinding into zangarmarsh. At level 61, i wanted to give it a shot again but same thing take quests dont do them and go to impossible hotspot (behind Dark Portal ). So well i don't know what is the problem but well... using SimpleDK as my CC. Thk
I have 2 toons in Nagrand at the moment, there seems to be an issue in that it really likes to wander through the Horde town when it goes towards the quests in the north east corner.
When he got to the last tower to burn and onto the quest Laying waste to the unwanted. he just keeps walking behind The stair of destiny and walking off the world and dying. Also spamming " No suitable grind or hotspots in (questing) alliance 58 -70 by Synik.. No Grind or quest hotspotrs have been defined. "
Getting the same error. -edit- "An Old Gift" seems to be bugged. Open the xml file in a editor, and remove all lines containing "An old gift". That worked for me. -edit2- By the way, thanks a lot for this profile. So far its working like a charm. Done everything up to "An Old Gift", removed it, and now its back questing like a madman again!
Same problem here, after deleting the quest from the profile it doesn't continue questing because of " No Grind or quest hotspotrs have been defined. " Can post a log later when I'm back home if you need one.
A very strange issue, I will look into this as soon as possible. I might even do a re-write for this profile because we have so much more quests which are now available to us and it would be a shame to ignore them.
Even though it hasn't, we've now <CustomBehavior> to address a lot of quests that had to be ignored in the past. The possibilities this opens up is exciting. (Can we say 'zone achievements'? Uh huh. I thought you could! <smirk>) cheers, chinajade
