Is there anyone who is good at this sort of things who think i might be able to overturn it? Could show the communication that i had back then with the GM. It was a ban for 72 hours for naming, that i then managed to get into a permanent ban for botting(yes im an idiot for contacting them) and then didnt manage to get back into temporary Im not the kind of guy who has run HB for money, that is i dont buy accounts expecting them to be banned, having alot of them, just had this side account to bot abit for fun. Id PM all the ticket responses since i dont know the procedure that a GM has, if he might search the internet with text examples of tickets etc. Just want an opinion how bad a case it is. Also i might add that when i was banned my bot had been stuck in western plaguelands for a night because of kicks profile(well 100% because of me leaving the bot on ) So while i might have farmed abit of gold from time to time, this was more for leveling a toon. First it was banned for naming, but the name was actually alright, a thing they later was honest about, that the name was fine. So it was just a bullshit reason the first GM did in order to preserve my account for me i think, unless whoever reported me reported me for more than botting. I managed to get the naming 72h into a permanent tho, when i contacted Blizzard (posting the communcation after all, can edit it out if told) First "The name my deathknight had was "röttskägg". I dont expect blizzard gms to know swedish, but there is nothing wrong with that name. Noone can get insulted, hurt from bad language or anything. If you were to translate it to english, it would mean "rottenbeard". You can google translate "Röta" and "skägg" yourself and you will see. Google Översätt Google Översätt Now i dont particulary care about the name itself, it was just something i named my char since i couldnt find any "viking" appropiated reference name which i wanted on a death knight with beard, so i thought id just name him something that was similar in spirit or a nickname someone might have had. Well there's certainly no harm in trying. Send a ticket in and see what happens. I've never had my perma bans overturned, in fact, they don't even bother replying to me when I try and argue, they just close the ticket without replying.
Might it affect the matter that ive never had any bans before, that ive never been that big of a botter nor ever sold or transfered large amount of gold to other people and might be labeled as a different kind of botter? Just not certain what pressure point to go with, since i cant change the chat history. Would really like this account back since i have chars on it that i transfered to it specifically.

Well i dont know, i mean i have no idea if i did my best or worst, thats all the chat history aswell as a phone call in the middle. Didnt wanna push them more at the end.
Sorry for going off topic, but "Rottenbeard" should be "Rötskägg". The word "Rött" with two Ts is the color red and not translated into rotten. "Rötskägg" is the correct spelling of it. And you cannot google translate your way to it. Because "röt" is something completely different when seperated from the word "skägg". So basically, your character was named Redbeard, in a weird grammatical form. Had to get it out of me /Grumpy swede
I had my acc permabanned for botting, and i simply made a ticked saying that i had been hacked, and they removed the ban, guess i was lucky
Well obviously i was spelling it wrong here on the forums, unsure if i did ingame tho since it was a while back. Who knows might have spelled it correct there ^^ Anyhow still havent dared sending a ticket yet. Not sure how to approach the issue, maybe say something like "Hey Blizzard! My little brothers account is banned, can you please help me with this?" or "Hey Blizzard! Why does it say my WoWx account is still banned?" "Hey Blizzard! Could you please unbann my account?" Honestly just want the account back, wont be botting on it nor my main account. Just want a 2nd account for auction house/crz etc. How much can you spinn a story without pissing off the blizzard employee who obviously unless he's stupid directly understands its false? My belief is that they wouldnt mind unbanning someone if they think the person is about to continue his subscription/buy expansion and that hes not one of the hardest hardcore botters.
