New kind of bot going to be prevalent in Cata - Forums - World of Warcraft

Whats odd is the number of people (probably us ) saying that they would like to be grouped with a bunch of bots that just assist and kill, without pulling or being aggro whores.

Just a heads up.

I love the fact that they think the bot /follows and not the other way around it actually works. Also it's awesome that they rather want bots in their party than kiddie dps

lol, Bossland must change the name of bot and make this forums and things only availble for costumers

 

Funny read, and I can see why alot of players would prefer a bot, to the dpswhoring, nerdraging teens pulling aggro at every turn. Don't expect this will hurt HB any, Blizzard must have known about this for months.

 

It doesn't matter what they say..
Sooner or later the bots will advance further and further,
Sooner or later someone is going to make a plugin that will enable the bot to interact with people in-game.

At first the bots started with grinding, then questing and now doing instances.
Who knows what they would be able to in a few months? =p

bots rock, I was in a group with a buddy of mine (he was a healer) and I had 3 dps and I was tanking...

He had no clue at all that the other 3 were bots, I told him on vent and he was like ???? I just thought they were quiet

I was like ... nope! Meet some of my arsenal

 

I read this too...was a little surprised at the responses. In any BG I'm in with my shaman, he gets tons of compliments on his healing. Most AV's, he's top of the healing charts, even in Elem spec. When I switch to Combat only, he is usually in the top 5 in KB's and often times #1. Usually there's a Lock or Pally in #1...probably has a personal healer or is a bot himself =D

I play manually as DPS and occasional tank and I don't know how many times I've died because the healer was too slow to react or the random nub is DPSing wrong targets or pulling mobs he shouldn't be pulling. A well programmed bot is so much more efficient than humans.

Instancebuddy hasn't been out for months.. So how could blizzard of known about it BEFORE It was even invented?

 

There are 3 other bots that i no of, that can run dungeons?

 

I'm in love.

 

That will be really cool but people will try and use it for randoms which will only increase the complaints....

maybe make IB not work in tank mode if the toon isnt grouped with at least one person prior to using dungeon finder.

This will make sure that the tank is at least botting with known people
