Hyperthreading and Turbo Boost will help alot, even when using HB.

      Graphics card is nothing special.

If you're planning to overclock, you have to clock it higher than what TurboBoost would, or it decreases your performance.

And an SSD or two would drastically increase your performance.

That aside, you could run 12 bots with no issue. That's what I run on my secondary rig - given, that one's not overclocked at all and it's a Phenom X6 (better for one wow client, probably worse than the i7 for multiple clients). Although I do have an ATI HD 5870 in that one, it shouldn't make a difference with all the clients set to lowest settings.

Well, it's really decent, not top notch but still really good. However RAM is pretty cheap, watercooling tend to cost and the i7 930 is a f'ing beast

Phenom X4 wouldn't be able to handle as many. The i7's hyperthreading (effectively making it an octo-core processor) is amazing for multitasking. Your ram's the main choke point in your rig, though.

Go for a GTX580 or a HD5970.. the cost is worth it.

The 460's pretty damn cost effective, and so are the 6xxx series. Great if you're on a budget.

The 580 and 5970 are way expensive, but take a look at the clocks and pixel pipelines and you'll see the difference (especially on the 5970)

Nice case. Cooler Master is great, shouldn't need to be replaced until a new motherboard form factor emerges.

my 2.0 ghz duo core can handle 10 accts (some gb, some hb) before a lot of them got banned... but that was also hb1, i don't know how hb2 will act with that many. it also had 4gb ram back then and the ram was fine

Wasn't saying that he couldn't run a bunch of bots, just saying the 4GB of DDR3 was the weakest part of the system.

And KickAzz, your avatar's like, the same as mine. I keep getting confused. I can make you a new one, if you'd like. Don't worry, it'll be awesome.
