Blizz is now selling 310% flying speed for a whopping 4500g. I have two level 80 toons that need this. I can imagine this will send the price of gold soaring as players prepare for Cataclysm.
Its still 5000 gold, but it scales with reputation So be sure to be exalted with the faction/place you buy it from!
idk, from what i herd, unless your path is optimized for that flight speed, youll end up loosing out on your Nodes/h. in the end i think some testing needs to be done in order to truely get an understanding of how 310% flying will effect gathering.
well 310% is only like 7% faster, so it will help you get up in the air a little faster, but meh. best thing to do is make paths with a paladin 310% + 20% crusader and that will be the best way. Unless you do that, then its best to just stick w/ 280%... or use an emulated server to make your own
That's an interesting point. I wasn't even thinking about Gatherbuddy when I started the thread. I could see how increased flight speed could cause some nodes to be missed. The real point though is that the price of gold will likely see a sharp increase as regular players wish to increase their flight speed to prepare for leveling in Cataclysm.
