So the big question is botting still profitable?
how much have you actually made per month per toon ? Hours run per day , server ect... Please post everybody!

 

lets say gold stays at 3$/K after the expansion
lets say you get 3k gold per 8 hours (average in cata)

so that 9k gold per day x $3/k = 27$ / day. x30 days = 800+$ / acct. Now that is a lot of money.

most ppl will make max of 400$ / acct / month or less

 

Well, I just made my first sale for a small amount. But I think I'll still give my 2 cents, thoughts and information gathered from various sites: How much money you make each doesn't only depend on bots running, it also depends on your network so to say. You'll want to have a foundation, a group of private buyers who more or less buys as often they can. And also advertise your services on different forums that allows trading gold and so on.

If you really want to maximize gold income, besides stacking up from GB and farming. You should take a look at a new kind of "bot" that works on the mobile AH and basicly let's you dominate AH. Buy extremely low, sell high, flip prices completely and so on.

Ill make 4 grand a month? My biggest problem as of now is proxy server... They will ban me once they find me running 10 accounts!

 

Private buyers is the simple answer.
Don't even bother on proxy, a VPN Tunnel may help you dodge a few bullets (IP change, pref. another country IP = You can blame it on being hacked). But it's nothing to rely on.
Although, people running multibotting will have some accs banned, sometime, even it's just a 72h. You CAN dodge it, but I do not really imagine this being an easy task.

As said, I don't run any multibotting, but I've come across alot of information under my years of lurking WoW and bot forums.

 

How do you find private buyers that want that much stock?

 

First off, read Kick's guides if you haven't, rep him and thank him because his guides on the subjects is a tremendous help.
Friends, friends friends (ad infinitum pretty much), friends guildmates, friends guilds, classmates, forum boards such as MMOwned and more.

To sell as much as Kick does, you need to have some kind of foundation and network of buyers. (Feel free to whip me with whine if you think I'm talking bullshit)

The answer is quite obvious. But yes, if you pull it off right, keep your mind at business, manage to get a "network" of buyers and post your services on forums that allow it. Yes, you will profit.

 

So easily 1000 a month off 8 bots?

 

I have a network of private buyers, started out with one, that spread to 2 then to 3 and so on and so on. I am at the point where I need to fish or cut bait so to speak. I have more demand than what I can produce with my limited number of bots. I sell 10k for $30 USD. I have never once had anyone get upset over the price or ask for anything cheaper. I have even thought of raising the prices to $4/k in WOTLK because of demand. My buyers will not buy from anyone else and that is because none of my buyers have been banned nor have any of my bots been banned. They trust me with their accounts.

And average gold in WOTLK with 3 bots was 15k/day. Around 5k each. Yes I could compete with the 25 other fucking retarded botters on the AH and drag the price of herbs down to retarded prices, or do what I did and put all my bots on mining, clean house vendoring saronite bars for 25g/stack and sell all the titanium powder, gems and other things on the AH. I feel like I make more than what I would have doing what I do.

Also most of my buyers like to buy weekly, around paycheck time and most of them buy around 10k worth at most. I do sell in 5k chunks for some buyers. Tailor your service around your buyers. I dont ever do anything over 10k at a time though. I probably botted a total of 15 (24hr) days last month. 24 on and 24 off. I made around 600 dollars last month on 3 accounts.

 

There is no fixed number. It depends on your business network and the demand.

depends on how many bots you run, how much gold you make a day, and how muh you sell it for, and how much you can sell basicly

a really good month can make me 500-600$ a bad month 50-100

 

With 8 bots to make 600 thats like 90 a month shouldnt be to hard to sell 2k gold a day each toon lol.

 

Are you guys running proxy servers or anything? I wanna be safe and not get a huge ban hammer..

 

Its possible, most ppl only make ~200$ / month b/c they don't have private buyers and sell to the whomever

Best thing to do is Private Buyers and you won't have to worry about anything. If you get a ban, tell them the "truth". A buddy gave you a power level, a guild gave you a run through some dungeon, or you owned someone a favor

Think of it like a spiderweb that is ever-expanding. Just make sure no one mentions your "real" toon's name. And never in game. I use my guild's vent server

You can, but the higher the amount of gold traded, the higher the risk. Always have a backup plan. I 2nd acct ($5 atm) with the GM of your bank guilds that is suspended (not paid or logged into) is a good way to keep ur shit if you get banned

Simple solution --> Get more bots. Its all about supply. Even if you have too much, sometimes you get those lucky fish! If you're making $600, 1/2 of that needs to go towards bots or botting needs (computer(s)) and GB Lifetime Accounts

For the guy who does $600 / month for 3 bots ($200 / bot is average atm)

Here is how I started last year:

GBx1 in September or so. I traded my buddy power leveling (60-80 in 3 days) for a botting account. I botted 24/7 on that account (GB) and within a month I had sold people enough gold to buy GB lifetime... and then I bought 2 more GB lifetimes in February, and then more recently. There was a big gap b/c I got reckless and got like 14 accts banned at once, and I had to start up small again. =(

But I have revised my strategy a little to be less reckless =)

Remember guys, if it looks too good to be true, it probably is. Don't get greedy.

 

2 per server or what?

 

for servers that you don't micro manage, 2 per server is fine (no private buyers).

But if you for instance have a shit load of private buyers on your main server, then keep it going

just remember, keep at least 20k on hand for yourself. and even that is broke

 

Oh I know I like to keep alittle at any time for ah monoply skills new bots ect. Got 150 k on my banker atm
