So I've been using this for the past 48ish hours, and I have to say, unbelievable... It's tamed 8 different rare pets for me thus far, mostly the Northrend pets and the two from Twilight Highlands. It's been amazing, it's tamed more than 8 to be honest, but it was a few doubles. Great set of profiles. +Rep
I know some have had success with this, being able to tame some mobs real quick. But what would you all say is the "average" amount of time it takes to find and tame a mob? I'm just curious because my character has been flying around searching for a while. Not sure if it is "working as intended" or not. Also- Are the files on page 1 the most recent, or should I be using the RareFinder.xml that is located on page 4? DX123 PS- Thank you to the author of this. Very happy to have come across it. For some reason my wowclient crashes each time he finds a rare and wants to move to it. Anybody else has this problem?
Just started running this and it seems to be working after i was able to find the most recent RareKiller plugin. When i start it i get this red letter error in the log XML Error: Unknown tag "CustomBehavior" (Input: "<CustomBehavior File="Misc\RunLua" Lua="UseHearthstone()" WaitTime="1000" />") in "HBProfile"! - On line 1763 But it seems to go about its business anyway. Anything i should be worried about?
Question, I have most of the rare pets that you listed below. Is there a way I can have my hunter bypass them? Or it's just kind of like what ever pet he comes upon will tame?
I have a question: I want to find Terropene and ONLY Terropene. Is there a way I have to configure Rarefinder and Rarekiller to make sure this happens? I'm trying to figure it out, but so far it's flying a bit all over Hyjal.
i have an interessting problem when the bot changes zones, Ogrimar --> Northrend Honorbuddy chrases it just says Honorbuddy stopped working, anyone else ran into that problem? cheers
yep but my HB is freezing and say that HB isn't working anymore And yep got this problem too. sad, the other profiles i found aren't the quality that this could have. EDIT: just found out that the freeze when finding a rare isn't a problem of this profile. seems to be an Rarekiller Plugin problem Edit2: might got it semi working by now. if someone has probs with the waypoints should make sure that he has the profiles in the right folder. HB says even in Normal Logging Mode wich folders are needed. After deactivating framelock in the Settings & Tool Section AND in the Class Config under General it flys around the spots. can't confirm if its unmounting and taming cause i didn't find any rare atm. Last prob that i wasn't able to solve for myself is why the profile seems to crash wow and hb when heartstining back to stormwind. a workaround could be editing min time in zone and max time in zone. whats even verry short by default to fly over every spot.

I have the same issue where my hunter flies into the ocean in northrend and tried all the items listed above and it still flies into ocean to die of fatigue.
got the same problem. i solved it with pasting the Profiles in the right folder. HB should give you an error that it can't find the xmls. The folder MUST be: Whatever you installed HB on\Honorbuddy\Bots\ProfessionBuddy\Profiles there you must have Rares (Folder) Rarefinder.xml
anybody has seen an updated version or similar "profile" for this? Just rerolled the hunter and love to have some nice pets... Already tried the tips given before and managed to get plugin started and also could load ratefinder in PB but then the profile doesn't seem to do anything... once it flew to Uldum(while that zone was unchecked) and grinded some crocs there but that's it... much appreciate any helpful hint...
Hi hi hi .I wanna tame Skoll and have one tech problem.Sorry if my english not very well. RareKill working with GrindBot and camping rare mobs in one point of resp because rare kill with empty XML cant move ...He only wait resp on one point and can tame this if mob respown.Right? Skoll have 3 point of resp and i loaded "SKOLL Finder" which working with Gatherbuddy2 and can fly beetween all points of Skoll resp. NPC scan and silver dragon i installed too. In one day i listented ALARM sound and saw SKOLL on the ground and MOVING TO SKOLL but wow screen freezed after this.. I mean war (conflict) started between SKOLL finder which wanted to fly to another point and RAREKILL(empty xml) which wanted to go down and TAME skoll and in result wow freezed.After restart comps i saw another happy hunter with skoll. What do you think about it ??? Do you know another "SKOLL finder" or anything else which can fly between points of resp without conflict with RAREKILL DO you know any xml file which will be correct work with Rare kill and can fly between poits of resp? Do you have another ideas how will tame skoll with HB?
I think this, or better yet - RareKiller - needs an overhaul. Following the directions shown on page one, i get in the game about 4-6 minutes, HB crashes. If I disable rarekiller plugin, it runs for hours.. Ill post in the rarekiller forum to - but wonder - is anyone else having this problem with Rarekiller/Rarefinder?
