I know this is wishful thinking but i would love to be able to use HB in the WOD beta. Even if its to help test. And yes i have gotten a WOD beta invite.
This is fantastic news!! So this means, we may have at least Singluar working for patch 6.0? It's possible i'm assuming, they're working very hard to have this thing up and running come WoD, and as Tony said, there is a version already working. Awesome Awesome News.
Patch 6.0 technically will not exist in the sense that we are skipping from MoP to 6.0.2, the pre-expansion patch. However, given the previous development schedules (wrath->cata cata->mop), and major content updates (x.1, x.2, etc.) it is safe to say we will most likely experience a larger downtime/disruption in the 6.0.2 patch on oct 7/14 when the pre-expansion patch goes live and breaks everyones codes/plugins. Since the pre patch will initialize all of the expansion data, and they have a working beta build there is a chance it will only need tweaking between october and november and no major issues on the night of the expansion. THIS IS ALL SPECULATIVE! I am only advising you on my knowledge of the bot as a community developer.
If anyone have already noticed, Kick is already working on Ally questing profiles for 3x WOD zones, as seen on the Buddystore list.
Kick if you read this, please at least make a horde questing profile until we get our garrison...I plan to first get my alts to build a garrison before continue with my main and sadly my plan is to play on horde side...so think about us poor hordes before continue any further with your alliance questing
Is there a beta honorbuddy for Beta WoD ? or somehow we the people with beta keys help the developers before the release ?
Tony, you have proven yourself a thousand times over how awesome you are, but this thread emphasizes that notion. From helpful "leaks", allowing a civil thread on a borderline topic to remain open, to that awesome post that caught the sarcasm of the previous post and played up on it. You have won my heart many times over, and for your continued legendary excellence I am grateful.
There is a fairly long period between patch 6.0 and WOD release so they have about a month to get a working version. It also gives combat rotations a month to update stuff.
Yeah, also the fact that this time the raids will open a lot after the release is a good thing for the people that use honorbuddy for that. Plenty of time for the routine coders to adapt to the changes.
