i just sold 115k for $435 and another lot of 20k for $80(2 seperate servers and players) and then paypal reveresed it because they said the account was authorised by someone else. This sucks i needed that $500 and paypal siad they cant do shit i rang them and everything. Is there another online bank that is better to use? or another payment method?

No, where you screwed up, is you are supposed to have them send it as a gift. Lesson learned.

send as gift, take the 5-10% cut and be done with it

      otherwise this happens

      my key rule:

Don't get greedy <--- why? b/c then shit like this happens

but now so many douchebags are simply using "unauthorized transaction" bullshit to scam people, its stupid

More than likely they told PayPal the account was stolen and the money sent unwillingly after they received your gold, Don't think sending as a gift matters in this regard.

      Always 3 days

When dealing with Paypal, you have to let the money be in there for atleast 3 days before you can consider them yours. When you get the message that cash has been transfered to your account. Then its actually on its way, and not in your account. This is actually a very common way to screw people up.
      sorry for yor loss.

Yep, if the buyer wants it, they will wait.

I have also contacted paypal for an "in depth" answer to this riddle

I have sold a lot to people that buys as gift, and it is indeed possible to reverse the money by explaining paypal that the account was compromised.

What they do, is login to PP and make the payment with a proxy, do it as gift. Ask paypal to reverse it as it was compromised, and paypal will do so.

or what was that other company that some ppl use that basically after its sent, they can't get it back?

Just another lesson learned, and another argument for the people thinking about expanding into 10.000 bots to get rich selling gold, good luck....

This is why I find private buyers I can trust. I haven't had a chargeback since eBay a very long time ago (DAoC accounts)

put their email address into google or whatever site you have been advertising on

They are still able to reverse the payment if it's sent as a gift. All the person needs to do is contact his/her bank and say it was fraudulently withdrawn, and paypal will reverse it. I had this happen to me once. So no way is safe on paypal.

      Screw Paypal

I acutally learned the hard way not to sell anything wow related using Paypal. I was trying to sell my accounts and be done with wow. I was tired of all the changes I didnt want to "learn to play" any longer. So i posted an add on craigslist and had several ppl contact me. I eventually decided to sell to a user who did pay the 1k for my accounts but then he turned around and told paypal that the account was used without his permission and they reversed the charges. Luckily I hadnt given the authenticators.

Paypal's about as safe as it gets. Even direct CC payments can be reversed - at least paypal is quick and easy.

The only safer alternative is having them mail you cash.
