My raiding guild master had his account hacked several times when someone was able to access his email address. Over the course of a couple months we had our guild bank emptied completely three times. In all cases, Blizzard was able to restore the items. They even went as far as to give our GM a completely new account which he registered at a different email address and transferred all his toons to it.

Lol. Pretty fun you say it's garbage, why the hell would anyone get a bot even if it's cracked or for free if it's garbage?

I would like to start off by saying the person in question is me.

I admit that I'm at fault here, and want to take responsibility. Not because of fear of retribution, but because its the right thing to do!

I sold 3 accounts to fpsware back in January, because I was having a social disconnect from reality. fpsware was gracious enough to take them off my hand.

It all started out when I became informed that the accounts in question had been banned. A few days later I reclaimed them, seeing a opportunity to redeem a loss.
After some time I did finally reactivate a account, for my personal use. And to my amazement a few of the toons were members of a vary wealthy guild. Eventually I made the conscience decision to seal from him. It wasn't for monetary gain or vengeance, but for the thrill.

      For that I'm Sorry.
I have not yet been able to make contact with Mike, but I do intend to try to amends for what I have done. And hope that no one makes the same mistake that I have made.

I am making this statement not only to apologize to fpsware, but also to the Gatherbuddy/Honorbuddy Community. As I have scorned the community with untruthfulness and thievery.

fpsware please let me know when there is a appropriate time to contact you.

You're a useful guy to have around.

But really, he apologized. True, he stole - but as long as the goods are returned or paid for there's no harm, no foul.

      Botnets are evil stuffz :(

Mario: If you buy accs, this is want you want: You should make a new mail, make the seller change his acc email to yours (a brand new one with a password from, let's say PassPlex for example, a hi-secure pw). The secret Q&A. You should also request photo of ID and CD-Keys.

Make a new account, buy all the keys, make sure to also photo the CD-Keys. Connect an authenticator.

You know, I most definately respect that you have taken responsibility for this, outed your self and apologised.

I hope that over time people will forgive you and you earn back their trust.

to everyone else, i say consider when you have made a stupid decision - have you owned up like this, and did others give you a chance to redeem yourselves?

Whilst it is true he did the dodgy, he owned up to it publically on this forum knowing full well some people here may never trade with him again. kudos to him for that.

Stop giving him shit for his jaded morality, and just move on and lock the thread.

Well, it must be said that he did empty out two guild banks with over 250,000 gold + thousands more in mats afterall, and only came forward about it when people in this thread started talking about legal action, police, and russian hit squads. Since they knew his account name, Boss and others already have access to his name, payment information, address, bank, etc from his HB account.
It seems like it was pure fear that brought him forward, not the "goodness of his heart". I've been scammed once in the past, and let me tell you... If someone has no morality in stealing from someone in the first place, I'm guessing they don't give a toss about the damage they cause to others and don't have the ability to have a change of heart. Maybe this was a calculated move so he could avoid real life repercussions.

Although I don't know this guy personally, I do know that people who steal once are opportunists and will strike again, taking advantage of someone else when the situation arises. Maybe he's learned his lesson here, but there's no stopping him from going to other forums on the internet (where he's anonymous) and trying against other people.

But maybe I'm mistaken, and this was just a bad situation that went the wrong way, and he really is sorry for his actions. In that case, everyone deserves a second chance.

Here is a small update: Blizzard have restored almost all of the items stolen from the guild bank, but they have only restored 25,000 gold. They stated it is the maximum gold they can restore and no further gold will be restored.

Given that I lost 250,0000 (250 thousand) I feel ripped of from BOTH sides.
