You can expect the bot to not be up until Christmas or new year's eve.

I dont get it? I live everyday, thats the reason why I bot so I dont have to be on my pc or in wow. If I wanted to not have a life I would be playing wow without HB haha

I don't think you realize how many people are here for business, and how many sessions they have, even if one every 5 users here is for business then it's still at least half of total subs, because if you're here for business you will have at least around 15 subs, while casuals often have only one - there is a reason you see 3 sessions bundle, because most ppl want to make profit out of HB ;)

      razer gets it

If this is the business you chose mate then you also have to realize that bot downtime is the cost of doing business. I run a landscaping company with 22 employees. If it rains then I don't get paid and neither do the people working for me, but I understood that before I bought my first lawnmower. I'm sure that you knew that Bot downtime was expected before you decided to set up shop in Azeroth.

Just like the rain that will eventually go away, so will the downtime of our beloved Honorbuddy.. Until then

      Have a Snickers

Yeah, you're absolutely right. That wasn't meant to be directed at you per say, but at the debate that arises wheren there is DT between the casual botters and those that use it at income. Maybe I'm the one that needs the chocolaty goodness of a Snickers right now.

yeah the last thing we would want is an online forum full of threads. That would just be terrible.

If HB being down is enough to affect your income then you need to set the bar higher... a lot higher. lol

Now that's just pretty stupid thing to say right there, read what grumpyhaus said - if you'd had experience in leading any kind of business for at least a couple of years you'd knew how even a smallest thing or a single order can affect your business. It ofc have to be calculated in your total annual ups and downs, but that doesn't means it won't affect you

lol I think you need to read what I said again.

      SET THE BAR HIGHER

also, annual ups and downs lol. Never heard that before so please don't tell me about experience in the business world.

What does that mean? What an extremely ignorant and silly comment to spew out.

It means that this should be a side gig, not your primary source of income. Which should be obvious. I mean, I'm not going to invoke the Just World Fallacy and screech the "just work harder, it was easy for me in the 50s, damn kids today" bullshit here. I know the economy is terrible. There are still more than 2 unemployed people for every job opening in America, and worse in Europe. For those lucky enough to have jobs, wages relative to productivity have been stagnant for decades, and realized income has shrunk for all but the top 0.5% since 2000. But the truth of it is botting is simply not going to get you enough cash to cover the bills, get you insurance, and fund your 401k. Its great for earning beer money, something to put in an account to save up towards a yearly vacation or something. But it is not enough to get you going as an adult, and you need to figure something out.

You're wrong actually, but at least you're wrong in a polite manner, while guy above is just a pure underage asshole :D

You can make a living out of it, pretty decent living actually, especially if you're living in "second world" countries. I myself do ran a company (a legitimate registered company, that pays taxes), while not as big as grumpyhaus, I still do hire few people, so yeas, you can make a living out of it, and in my case, a way better living then I would in various other "real" businesses

And if you need proof for that: just look up guys that have been making living out of that for years, like Pr3cious, HI5 or any other major trader on OwnedCore, they seem to be doing very well for themselves too :) (actually I do know for a fact they're doing well, got some insight because of my work )

So "rise the bar" is pretty dumb thing to say considering most people on this planet work for someone, while a lot of people here are actually able to hire others :)
