To be perfectly clear, NO, botting on the same bnet with 2 seperate accounts will not increase your ban chances. The thing that will increase your chances is making a personal profit from botting. I have personally gold capped 12 characters and equipped 5 with the current top tier items and have not even got a suspension. I however got a perma ban after transferring alot of gold to an account not attached to mine. This leads me to believe Bliz does not care about personal account gains as long as it doesn't transfer to real world gains such as money in your bank account.
It comes down to personal preference, risk acceptance and paranoia levels. In the past I have botted one account while playing a main on the same IP (different b.net accounts) and have had the bot banned without the main touched but hey you might get the one in a hundred grumpy GM that decides to be a pain. I also currently run multiple off the same IP (different to my main) under the same b.net account which spends little time in public places (ie. lower chance to end up being randomly reported for the sake of it), whilst I haven't been banned yet I am quite prepared to loose them all if one does get banned. Thinking about the way "they" bot, chances are if one gets the ban hammer they will probably all be discovered anyways so I figure why waste clean ip addresses and multiple account setups. So with that in mind think about what you will be doing, will one be high risk and the other low and then make your mind up on how you will personally feel most comfortable. Also remember that sometimes if you look at third party means of obfuscating your ip address which i'm not going to even think about discussing then you run the risk of actually making things worse for yourself if you don't know what you are doing.
I have most of my accounts linked on same bnet my wow 1 is banned while the other 3 accounts linked were not touched and the ban happened earlier in expansion and nothing has happened to the other accounts yet *knock on wood*
For me the only reason to use separated b.nets is RaF bonus Maybe with boost to 90 for first character on account in WoD I will use only my main b.net.
I've one bot acc running now on the same ip as my main. Would never bot on main acc. Dangerous or no probs?
