Do I really need the sub or just the preordered expansion? Probably expansion is only till 50 for now? Anyone knows how that 30 days game card/cd keys work? Can I attach it to like level 10 account that was previously without any subscribtion or you have to be level 1 or smth?
Yeah, ive been consistently 52 or 53 when I finish the class questline. Then I do 2 or 3 makeb quests and I'm done. You can get to 55 within an hour after finishing the class questline. Just avoid all mobs. Even if they attack you, just keep going lol.
I went 1-55 only class missions, 1 day 11 hours, 8 minutes. Was on the 4th Makeb mission when I hit 55. I did Illum first, because I like to get the set bonus 146 chest piece ASAP.
How did you guys overcome the gear gap? i rushed from lvl 12 to 20 in like 1,5-2h, but now im facing a problem i cant handle elites. You lack credits, unless you send them over from other chars and no planetary comms. Guess this is the new credits / comms / money pit.
My friend had same problems with just class quests but I thought thats because he is new to the game. Let me know if you found any solutions to that for leveling progress.
What you got is, buy gear, crafting via guild or do all quests. Still if you would do this on a fresh account and another server, youre 'fucked' So my question is actually more, what did you guys do, swap gear around or something else. God i miss the adaptive gear from wow now.
found some tips on the swtor forum: Anonym link So you need a sack of credits sadly and once a while when you hit the gap, upgrade a bit of mods and armoring.
So this might sound really hokey, but I used an alternative solution. (since I just came back to swtor and have few precious credits) I used my first account (55 tank consular) as a helper for my second account (fresh knight). The 55 wrecked things and the slave just was on follow (I key bound target player and follow on buttons I could hit easy). It seems like it would be slow or difficult, but actually I got from 1 to 42 in about 4 hours this way. 42-55 in less time today. Then at 55 to "gear" the slave, I just used one of the adaptive armors from the starfighter packs that seem useless, used whatever comms I had to outfit them and only needed to make two armor mods and a hilt from my own mats. So I saved credits, but unfortunately had to sacrifice my actual time. I tried leveling the normal way but by the time I hit 30, I was getting slaughtered. And didn't have the means to play catch up.
