Funny thing is there is a market for gold selling. I know I've spent more than my fair share on RMT. People wanna hate because they are afraid to do what it takes, but if you were serious and you didn't get greedy I am sure there would be no issues making some decent money by gold selling.

Of course its hard to not get greedy when it comes to money.

A while ago, someone claimed they made $150,000 a year from it but that thread had more bullshit than a dairy farm.

20$ to buy all 3 online, seems black enough without having to go to the store,
sale ends tomorrow. build your "empire" overnight

A 60 day gametime card is only $27 so $13.50 a month. As long as you make more than that you break even(not including electricty which for me is minimal). $13.50 is less than 10k even selling to a website that I sell to sometimes. For private buyers its more like only 5k a month...With Gatherbuddy you can make 5k a day per account fairly easily...You do the rest of the math :)

There is of course the initial GB/HB purchase cost and cd key costs.

In only 1 year of botting wow it has paid for a new computer and put a very nice chunk of $ in my retirement account :)

$150,000 is totally attainable in my opinion even with todays prices. It would be a full time job though but a good one at that. You of course would have to be selling most of your gold to private buyers. Private buyers pay roughly $3/k currenly so to make $150,000 you need to sell 50mil in wow gold per year. 20 accounts with an average of 5k per day is 100k per day or 600k per week(not including tuesdays for downtime on average). 600k per week is 31.2mil gold per year. So I guess bump the accounts up to 30-35 and you can hit that 50mil a year no problem lol.

$3 a 1000? That's how much gold websites sell for.

Also, which private buyer needs that much gold? You'd need hundreds of private buyers at the very least.

Chinese sites sell it for that, but you have a high probability of getting banned. As for hundreds of buyers if you have 30 accounts and say you put 2 accounts per server that gives you 15 servers so you would only need 7 buyers per server to break 100 buyers.

It's really hard to sell gold atm. Prices are low, Private buyers are hard to find, Cost of orignal wow accounts to sell from goes up fast with there current detection rate, accounts get linked back to farmer/bank accounts and you lose there, monthly sub, paypal recalls, power bills from running 5+ comps.

In the end you CAN live off it... but its hard

A private buyer will not buy over 300,000 gold a year.

300,000 gold is only $900 a year. Thats a days work for a doctor/dentist and yes they do play this game, and yes they shell out tons of cash for gold bc its their form of entertainment. I have just started getting private buyers over the past 2-3 months and a few have already spent around $500 with me so I'm not buying that 300k per year limit.

Very nice nesox :) just don't take over my servers with your empire...I don't think I could handle being a bot slave!

just to Clarify for non US....

Black Friday is the official start of the holiday Shopping Season. It is a big deal to most retailers because It brings shoppers in and they sell a large volume of Merchandise Quickly. Also at pretty nice Discounts. (They still make a KILLING off the stuff though)

It is considered "Black" because in Accounting terms, in the "Red" it means negative. as in Negative profit.

This is a chance for retailers that are in the "red" to get back in the "Black" as far as the accounting books go. So they look good to Shareholders/investors.

How do u get to 60 in 9 to 10 hours. I RAF 2 druids. They're both lvl 50 with 6 days played already. I boosted them with another 80 DK or Priest, used Instance Buddy with them in the same grp, and did BG's weekends with them in the same grp. A lot of the time was them just gathering to keep the professions leveled up but still. What the hell am I doing wrong?

With the new questing features and more lower dungeons, I got them to 60 in ~12 hours.

Note: level 1-5's cannot do non-race starter area's for some reason.

IE: Druids (NElf) cannot do Human starting quests (Northvalley)

I've had many private buyers buy over 500,000 gold this year from me. There have been a lot of GDKP runs on my server =)

I had a private buyer before that would buy 20-40k a month. He raided alot and didnt have the time to be farming gold so he would simply buy it from me.

Also, $150,000 a year doesnt sound impossible. Making it a full time job and botting over 30 accounts could make this easy. Also if you sold privately it would be even easier. but yes it would take alot of work and time and i am sure only a few people are able to pull it off. Look at bossland for example, he runs over 60 bots at a time and also manages to have enough time to run gatherbuddy website and a gold website. He is also very smart at managing the bots and knows what he is doing. i bet he makes 30k a month easy

Brought no accounts, no-one in OZ was selling them :(

Dick Smith does have battlechest for $19.95 when Cata comes out though, so thats not too bad, might have to pick a few of them up, best price we will see in OZ I guess.

Well anyone bought from Blizzstore? Do they simply send you the codes or are they connected to your account?
