Yes i have the same problem. When focus are BOSS no have problem, always make good rotations, but it focus its adds, pulls or something, only put ROP and stop, no cast nothing more and in too many boss we need to kill adds or something and lost too many dps for it..
How about instead of casting combustion when it is over a certain damage number, cast it when your character has no instant pyroblast procs, or heating up procs but is also over a certain damage number. Because it will often cast 2 pyros, cast my combustion, but I have a third pyro sitting there that would add a lot more combustion damage
I agree with FluffyPuma Also, I think experimental rotation needs to be looked into a little, I got ilvl 579 and I do more damage with normal than with experimental.
Translations aren't high on my priority list at the moment. Still need to get the old Chinese and Russian ones added back in. It takes a lot of time to do though. Hey - You've hit a bug. Remove the Ring of Frost talent for now. I'll get it fixed today. Yeah sounds like a plan. Will add a condition to combustion to over the ignite value and no pyroblast procs.

Did some testing on all 3 spec today and they all looking nice but seen some issue. Frost it will cast icy veins as soon as burst is enable I would like to see it cast that with trinkets and 2*ice lance and a ffb proc I did try the setting for it but didnt seem to work. Not sure if that is correct way to go about it but it's what i been reading. frost bomb casts on cooldown is that correct? Also had some issue with hot keys registering twice so very hard to turn burst on/off.tested my keyboard it's not the issue and it only happened on frost. For arcane I noticed a issue that if 2 mages are close and you are standing on there RoP it will not cast ours, also noticed that if I had a proc of AM and at 4 AC it will still cast arcane blast before cast the proc of AM. not a big deal untill you have 3 AM proc's and it cast 2*Blast before casting the AM proc's. I lost a AM proc a few times over this. Fire seems to still have issues but nothing I can put my finger on, will spend more time with it later this week. I did notice a issue that happens with every spec, say I switch from mirror image to RoP with out restarting HB then the new talent will not work or be flaky. For frost I'll leave the Icy Veins being cast right off to Millz, the setting for 2 IL + 1 FFB in the config should be working, but maybe having an issue there, and that is the way to use it, not just on cd. Also for Frost bomb its not used on CD like in the old days since its primary purpose is to buff casts going into the guy you only apply Frost Bomb or refresh it (if it is about to expire) if one of the following condition holds (let it drop otherwise): (1) if you have 2 charges of Fingers of Frost or; (2) Frozen Orb is about to come off cooldown.
I'm not really sure how this will hold up at level 100, and I don't PVE - But if you wanna blow someone up as a firemage... repeat after me: /castsequence reset=5: IB,Comb,IB,Pyro,BW,BW,DragB,FJ,Scorch,Scorch,IB,Pyro! If they're not dead by now I don't know what to tell ya. It's sick man. For how long, idk, but for now - it's just sick! My talents consist of the middle talent first row, then basically the whole right side from there down. Most often I'll have my routine on pause, ready to hit that resume key if the outcome is not the way I want it or something unexpected comes up. The only other thing I can think of is always be on the lookout for those rng pyro's, you have 5 secs before it resets so plenty of time to get that instant unexpected proc in there. Generally I'll open out of invis with this and stay at distance until I see the BW's going off, I know then to start moving in because a DragB is coming right after. Back to distance and get that FJ off, 2 scorches on the run if one don't proc the other will - follow with an IB for a finishing Pyro. So yeah, like I said - I have that resume key ready to push baby just in case lol. Running 3's, I do all that I said above on our primary target then hit resume after primary is dead. Hit resume from there and Portal takes care of the rest. Not sure how all of this is relevant to Portal, I hope this post doesn't get deleted - just thought I share how I use the routine for PVP. Icy Veins -> It has a condition for on burst - means it'll just go instantly. Not using burst mode will make it pool for resources first. Frost Bomb -> There's some conditions behind when it can cast, depending on FoF procs etc. I've started work on optimizing the usage of this though. Hotkeys registering twice isn't spec specific - same code for all rotations. No idea how that could happen though! Rune of Power from another mage -> That's a bug, will fix. It'll still cast arcane blast (i.e. a 5th cast) if mana > 93% at 4 charges. I'll add a check in to force cast AM when the buff is dropping. Talent switching not working -> There's some weird bugs at the minute with SpellManager (internal HB) that causes a host of bugs. This is due to how talents are build in the wow client now. Before they were just added as a spell - but now they all exist as a hidden spell, and then the talent overrides the original. Probably just take a bit of time to work around this new setup. It's been reported though. Fire -> Standard just blows Pyro procs ASAP. Experimental has a lot more conditions around when to use Pyro and Heating Up (i.e. not casing Pyro until both Pyro and HUp active, will attempt to do a fireball before pyroblast, has extra checks in for profound magic buff to cast pyro instantly if the buff is going to drop.
PM'd Icy Veins has conditions depending on the setting, i.e. boss or player setting will wait for either 2 stacks of FoF, 2 stacks of BF, or either instant cast buff and a trinket active.
Yea thats what I thought was the case with frost bomb but wasnt sure millz had a reason for it to be casting on cooldown.
At the moment it casts on <5s and FoF active, frozen orb has just been cast, or FB was about to expire. It was a temporary solution as Ice Lance would have been consuming all FoF charges. After I get the changes tested it'll be casting on 2x FoF stacks, frozen orb just been used, and then make Ice Lance pool shards when FB has less than 5s remaining.
