Your estimates are laughable at best. Sure you can sell 10k a month to a private buyer and charge $3/k. What you fail to understand is that it doesnt scale infinitely.

      You fail to consider:

-Banned accounts and the time it takes to level up new ones cuts back the gold you're able to generate
      -Bot downtime
      -Fluctuations in gold prices
      -Fluctiations in gold demand
-If your private buyers on average buy 100k a year, you need 500 private buyers to pull this off

      Good luck!

They send the boxed games to you so you have to pay shipping costs. And no they aren't connected to your account. Just choose the "gift" option.

I purchased 15 x (Vanila, TBC & LK). I'm going to purchase another 5-10 this week - if the special is still running. I'm doing all my purchasing directly from the Blizzard store.

The blizzard store has 2 options. One is a digital copy, which binds to the battle.net account your are logged into, or the "gift" boxed version that they mail to your house. I was able to buy 5 of each and it errored out when i tried to purchase 5 more. I don't know if this is a limit, or just an error. I'll try again right now.

Dark I had this issue as well. I think they do cap it on the website at 5 per game as I was getting an error when trying to order lich king after I ordered 5 already. There are 2 ways to solve this.

Create a new battle.net with your real address name etc and use a different credit card and it will go right through. Or you can call Blizz and they will take the order over the phone for the "physical" copies.

Theorycrafting is so much easier when you think only optimistically, huh?

And those who do not try simply because they believe no one buys gold anymore etc will never gain anything. Did I say I as going to try to get 150,000$ a year no. I'm just saying there are people out there who do. Why would people be botting 40-60 accounts if it wasn't profitable? Take that $3 down to $2 and you still hit the $100,000 a year. And that is definitely realistic. I botted only 4 accounts for the past year and made close to $16,000 and thats profit not just in sales, that includes all costs except power which is minimal for me.
