Now, I can do a full IP WHOIS and get your full name, telephone number and everything else once I get to work tomorrow.

Stop being a douchebag and spamming my email. I have also contacted your ISP in regards to this situation.

      Thanks

@Tony - When you see this, I assume it was someone in this thread:

      http://www.thebuddyforum.com/ban-se...roblems-downloading-honourbuddy-new-post.html

maybe the guy who was trash talking and then edited his post to say reported. just a guess

somebody from these boards decided to spam my email with crap... and I decided it was a great idea to post their IP. I will investigate where they live at tomorrow upon going to work on the base.

Lmao.....not that Kickazz isn't intelligent, but doesn't take a lot of skills to whois an ip address get an address and google map it.....doesn't mean anything though......could be a proxy.

Note: If I were to spam someones email I would definitely use a proxy. And would use Linux instead of Windows.

Is it possible the offender's computer was infected with malware and they are unaware the emails are being sent?

      Just curious.

They were directed at me. it wasn't like "buy a new car" or "sex tonight" or anything. it was a douche here on the boards.

I'll let the mods sort it out. but once I get to work tomorrow the sender is going to be very unhappy :)

This is definately how it should be done! But also look at the place, no proxy would originate from there! Atleast i would think not lol

A proxy could originate from a shithouse. In fact that's how I would setup a proxy. People see the google earth location and say, "Damn I must have messed up, no way it came from there." After all, we all know the reasons people use a proxy.

ok you got me there! just that everytime i have used one it has been a random address who i assumed was from a large building that essentially just supplies and runs proxy's! thats all i guess. i just have never taken the time to actually find out where they "actually" come from i guess

That IP space is registered to an ISP, good luck in getting them to tell you who the DHCP lease was assigned to without a subpoena.

IP tracing is not accurate at all. You'll be lucky if that is within 100 miles of his/her real location.

well if he works on a military base he may be able to get it since 9 11 they can do almost anything with out warrant or subpoena also if it is a proxy they can back trace it and since he probably is not taking this to court he has a lot less restrictions on how he dose things there will be no judge to tell him he did it bad

What he said. Anyone who thinks that they could "pinpoint" your exact coords based on your IP address is a moron.
