Hi, i m searching for a VPS where i can put bots wow. Do someone use a VPS or a server ? I ve try some differents servers but can t launch wow cause of "no video card found" ^^ If someone success to launch his bot wow on server, i would be glad to know on which server Don t hesitate to MP me if you prefer ! you're better off getting a root server for that kind of task. but the power bill @home is much cheaper than renting a root. ;>
theres various ways to hide your "home identity" to the wow servers. I'll not go into detail, but google proxy, vpn..
Sorry i didn t explain very well why i want to have servers If i want to use server, it s because i want to have more bot than i have currently with my computer. At this time, i bot with 6-7 accounts on my computer. I will continue to bot 6-7 account in same time on my computer, but i will add some account on servers too to have more bot at the same time (10- 15 at the same time ? You will not be able run WoW on VPS. VPS are low spec servers that should be used as servers. If you really want bot on server, you can but: 1) It will be very expensive 2) Only 1, max 2 bots per server 3) Not good performance You will need dedicated server with core iX processor with integrated graphic card. Servers with Core iX are very hard to find, but some of server Xeon´s have graphic core (but it is harder to find Xeon with graphic core ). You can find server that will be maybe able to run 1 instance of WoW at price tag about 50-60 Eur/month. Imho cheapest one with good spec can be rent from OVH.
Probably there are even servers with a dedicated graphics card. But even if you get one it will be really hard. Because there is no good protocol to transfer a video signal over the internet. So it will be really uncomfortable to monitor and setup the bots, because the connection will be really slow.
I would really like to see server that is available for rent with graphic card that is not used as CUDA processor
