So, Back in June I was given a Life time key for Honorbuddy as a "late birthday gift" from a pal of mine, as he was quitting WoW and no longer needed his key. He has since quit WoW and I haven't spoken to him in months, I have no access to retrieving things from the Buddystore because of this. Everything I attempt to get which is free comes up "Will be loaded to your Auth key on next load up" or if I try with a new account "Does not have an auth key" I have no way of communicating to this friend to receive the information of the account it was purchased on, So is there any way for me to be able to merge the key with my own account or receive the information from the original account? I've been using honorbuddy for quite along time (Possibly about 2 years?) and this has become a huge inconveience especially with WoD rolling around the corner, all the plugins, Combat routines etc updating to 6.0.2 and warlords of draenor compatibility, I can't update to anything for them do due all their links leading to the honorbuddy store and giving these messages. If a staff member who can solve this can PM me I can provide you with the Key in question. Note: This forum account I'm using is relatively new. For a long time I was just a lurker , lol.
the problem is technically its not your key. he bought it it would be under his name, and attached to his buddyauth account. so even if you sent a pm to support and ask them to attach it to YOUR buddyauth account, the information wont match up.
So there is, 0 possible way of me solving this issue other then buying a new key even thought I already have one...?
you can try e-mailing support and see what they say, but theres no way to prove its your key. it wasn't bought with your credit card or paypal account, its not under an e-mail address that you control, so im not sure what to tell you. support@thebuddyforum.com
He did give me a picture with the like... The purchase date, the shows the key, when it was purchased stuff like that. Btw I love that its a life time key but says "Allowed days 3600" Would that do
lifetime keys at the end of that 3600 days (if we're still around at that point) will be extended, unfortunately theres no Little sideways 8 dealy.
