      Dear Community,

This is our last official announcement. The recent ban wave in Hearthstone hit a lot of users.

After discussing this with Blizzard, it’s clear we have to take off our services/products now. Please note that we’re not going to be commenting further on this.

Thank you all for being part of our community. We are very sad about this but you also know botting is against the rules and we all knew that the day when our products doesn't work anymore would come.

With tears in our eyes we have to say bye.

      In Love,

      The whole team of Crawlerbots.

From what I saw online most of the bans where on hearthcrawler bots, where most hearthbuddy users survived. Any thoughts?
I heard that hearthcrawler bot is able to get you to legendary, while can hearthbuddy gets you as high as......rank 9?

HC injects directly into the game.

      IIRC HB does not

Please, don't spread any bullshit here!
HC's website obviously got hacked and their forums also contained "war-crawlers" sub-forums with a bot for WoW, while the hacked page says "The recent ban wave in Hearthstone hit a lot of users.".
Not to mention, juce said hes and co will continue to work on the bot. It is a matter of 2 days where the website will be back to its origins. Farewell.

My English skills are poor, I don't deny it. Have you some more? No? Then go bash someone else.
And I'm not a developer. If you're the person who hacked the HC's page - too bad, I won't allow you and you-alikes to spread bullshit. Cya.

I don`t think the Hearthcrawler page has been hacked since nobody can`t connect anymore/verify their HC license when starting up HC.

So it seems like HC is just gone...

Not everyone has the balls to stand up and fight for what's right against giant multinational corporation like Blizzard. I expressed my opinion about HearthBuddy but I must say that I always admired Bossland for fighting against them. That was also one of the reasons I got Hearthbuddy not any other bot.

I do not know what Blizzard wrote to them that they shutted down but I am always amazed why wont they just reopen under someone else like brother/uncle/friend/we. Rewrite some code, make it better, return after a month with different name. Work for another year till Blizzard tracks you down, shut down, rinse repeat.

Bots are not illegal. Bots are in violation of TOS and EULA of games but that not makes them illegal. It's also not illegal to create such bots. How would you feel if one day you make a company that creates something and then this big corporation that have more people hired in law department then you have customers sends you a letter to stop doing what you are doing because they do not like that? I always admire people that stand up to what they believe in.

Read a thread on this forum about Bossland fight with Blizzard and see for yourself how it's looking.

Ok, we are not getting things straight. Blizzard didn't sue Hearthcrawler, they just said to them (I'm assuming) that their programs can now detect injection.
This way they destroyed the crawler's bots because their whole system is now useless.

The buddy system luckly doesen't work with injection so it is unaffected.

If you buy a bot, you know that youcan be banned by using it. You AGREE to the TOS and by breaking them you can be banned. I don't see anything about fighting for your rights, you know you are wrong because you "signed" a contract (TOS) and then broke it.

To summarize: they are not threatening with a sue the crawler bots, they just have set up a system to detect the users using them.

then why would they close warcrawler, which about a week ago was released fully rewritten from scratch, they couldn't make a warden detection so quickly with a new way of injecting and a totally rewritten API too to go with it.

I'm sure it was a bit more complicated than that. I'm sure they didn't jsut say, hey your detection sucks, lol.

Also, side note, I would have to agree with Bossland. Botting is the very right environment. For me, botting is more fun than actually playing the game. I don't get enjoyment from the repetitive actions they make you do so you pay them each month. With a bot, I can play the part of the game I want to play on my time. It's also fun for me to write profiles and help the community.

It goes deeper too about how botting isn't as evil as everyone thinks, but I will save the entire thread from getting hijacked by not typing it out.

Off-topic: I'm not saying that botting is evil, I'm just saying that when we bought the game (or downloaded it if it was free) we agreed on not using 3rd party programs. I agree with you when you say that botting makes the game more fun, saving tons of time for those of us that don't have time to grind lvl 90 WoW character or endless repetitive farming on diablo.

on-topic: I'm not saying that the anti-detection method was faulty, but injecting something into someone's program is pretty easy to detect (ok, not THAT easy, but you get my point). I work as a web developer, so I'm not that strong on injecting and reading RAM data, so I can easily be wrong

Incorrect, Blizzard chooses which third party programs you can use. IE hearthstone stat tracker is acceptable IN THEIR EYES. I vote the same way in my political life, I always want to choose my options rather than someone telling me what I can choose.

Also, as a new player, try to play hearthstone for free without unlocking naxx cards or having legendaries. It was much easier in the past because not everyone had access to those cards yet. Free to play decks are unheard of and even decks like Zoo still require cards like undertaker to get to legendary.

I'm not sure how well everyone follows their forums, but I was the one that said that the newest release set off a tripwire on my antivirus, something that none of the buddy products have ever done. I brought this up to JUCE and reluctantly he pasted the current updates.

I said none of those updates would cause a change to the exe that would set off my anti virus. He then replied with it was protection against people *****ing his product.

Ever since he used that, anyone who used THAT version was detected by Blizz. Whether it was done purposely or done by accident is up for debate.

EDIT- MY theory is by accident because he didn't want people stealing his program and that allowed Blizzard to see the bot. Later he realized it.
