Call whatever you want. When pickpocketing was big and not getting banned I was running 25 bots. 25 was 90-100% CPU. 20 was around 80%. Now I do not think its possible with how much resources HB is using.

Except opie was asking about Dungeonbuddy, which is on a whole another level for both the WoW client and HB client.

Because when you are buying 2 computers there is a lot more things to take into account which cost money, not just the cpu. paying for an extra 16gb ram and an extra £100 on a cpu is much cheaper than buying 2 motherboards, 2 cases, 2 psu, 2 hdd, 2 gpu, 2 cpu, 16gb ram

the only thing that will be changing in getting a better botting pc usually is the cpu and more ram, but you will still be running the same amount of ram running 20 bots on 1 pc, and running 10 bots on 2 pcs. 1 20 bot CPU is around the same price as 2 10 bot CPUs, so you are just spending extra money on all the other components

1 bot pc capable of running 20 bots is more expensive then 2 pc's capable of running 10 bots each.

Someone said that you need at least 1gb of ram per 1 bot+wow. When i was using win 7 that was true, but now i'm using win 8.1 and wow+hb eats about 50% less. I run 5 bots in dungeons and all the system has max 4.2\8gb memory used. Wow is at minimum settings, hb are with enabled logs.

at that point, wouldnt it be your graphics card? If you bought something beefy like a GTX titan and put 2 in a rig with maybe a 2GB cache, you could run pretty much as many bots as you wanted. id estimate up to about 40. but thats without anything else running at all. also, probably using an i7 with 8+ cores would help.

If money isn't an issue, might wanna go big :) I bought an intel i7 4.0 Ghz processor with 8 cores and compared to a basic dual core CPU, there is no comparison.

GTX titan would be a waste of a lot of money.

Well I just calculated it then, and 1 20 bot pc is cheaper than 2 pcs running 10 bots.
You are buying an extra case, psu, motherboard, hdd, gpu. a cpu running 10 bots would cost £100 at the cheapest, and a cpu running 20 bots would be £170 at the most expensive,
      I highly doubt a FX9590 can't run 20 bots.
So an extra £60 for upgrading your cpu. Where as if you were going for 2 pcs you would need another psu, case, mobo, hdd and gpu.
and all them components cost a lot more than £60...

Also the long term payments of power, having to run double the amount of monitors and running 2 pcs instead of just the 1.

It's not just the cpu that's expensive.
With a low end cpu you can go low end with a high end cpu your costs will be higher.

In reality costs are about the same maybe a few 10's of dollars more or less depending on which 2 or 1 cpu you take.

It's about preference not about price.

If you use two low end computers to run all of your bots and one malfunctions you are still able to function. If you put all of your bots on one cpu and it malfunctions you are screwed.
If Blizzard traces hardware the way GW2 does, then if you run two computers you only lose half of your bots when you are eventually caught. If you have all of your bots on one machine, then you lose them all when you are eventually caught.

Just look at the power consumption of a FX9590 and you're better off getting a i7 4770k.
In most places like europe etc you'll be paying more for the power then for the actual cpu difference in a year time not to mention in 3-4 years or longer.

Do you mean of getting the i7 4770k for running the 20+ bots?
As i wasn't planning of getting that cpu for this I was just using it as an example
I'm thinking of using the fx8350 but I'm not sure if it's capable of running 20+ bots yet.
It would take 4.5 years to outweigh the saving from getting that instead of the 4770k
That would be with running the cpu 15 hours a day.

What are the energy prices where you live?
Here in europe they're at about 0.2-0.3 euro/kwh.

Aha you mean the fx-8350 yes you're right but still long term it would be worth it cpu's live very long nowadays and I think the 4770k is a bit better performance.
But it's really personal preference I have a fx-8350 just a tip buy a cooler otherwise you will feel like you're near a airplane it's very noisy the stock cooler
