I used honorbuddy a lot in the past... was away from gaming/botting for the last year. I just have a couple questions about buddywing now that I've been using it for a few hours: 1. is it normal for the sound to be kind of hinky while the bot is running? 2. is there no support for mounting up while running a botting profile? 3. anything else I should know before getting started? Thanks for any help you guys can provide!
1. Not normal, but I've seen/heard it happen before. 2. Joes has mounting I think. 3. Depends on what you want to do-- farming? Leveling? End-game?
Mainly want to use it to run dailies and maybe run some grinding in prime locations to farm credits (maybe deco drops)... I would really like to run lower level flashpoints to farm them... way more credits to be made per group of mobs... plus some high value decos drop in there... but I'm not sure there's the support for that type of profile...
1. Sound issues are weirdly hit and miss. Set both SWTOR processes to "realtime" and set your affinity if you have too. Typically I only have sound errors when running Joe's routine. I don't know why, but that's the only time I get stuttering sounds. When you are mostly afk botting it doesn't matter, but when you are just using combat bot it can get annoying. I use PureSWTOR when playing by hand in that case. 2. Joe's supports mounting 75% of the time. Sometimes it just likes to run off, but most of the time it mounts just fine. 3. There may be some points in time where you might want to beat the living crap out of buddywing for all it's stucks, crashes, and hiccups. But at the end of the day, it is still teh best swtor bot you are going to find. There are profiles floating around that will help you grind your way to 55. As well as Cryogenesis and CataclysmX reworking the old questing profiles. Nothing is really 100% afk, but it has gotten a lot better over time.
